These are my "Cup of everything cookie"
Or "Kitchen Sink Cookies" (everything but)
You can vary them any way you want.
To these I added sliced Almonds, butter brickle bits and dipped them in melted Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses then dipped them in Crushed Candy Cane.
Taste???
Yummy. Just ask David.
Kris you would love them in Mint Hershey Kisses and dipped in Mint chips.
Recipe
I got this one from Pat Jackson August 1 2004.
She got it from Nancy Casterlines Mom who happens to be Swiss.
1 cup oil
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 Egg
1cup Oatmeal, ( I used instant)
1 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup Rice Krispies
1 cup Coconut
1 cup nuts
3 1/2 cup flour
Mix together and make into balls.
I press mine down with a glass dipped in sugar, with a star on the bottom for added flair.
Bake at 350 until light brown on edges. (about 10 minutes)
I then melted Hershey Kisses Candy Cane
Dipped one side in
Then dipped in Crushed Candy Cane.
These cookies are just as good with no dipping in anything.
Easy to make and Good to eat.
This is where you can add your choice. Or you can eliminate some of the flavors above and add your own, for example add Almond extract, Cranberries, You make them yours.
P. S. Do you like my table and dishes?
Those are my Advent candles, I light one each Sunday.
Fiesta Ware
Red and blue are all I have, but we use them daily.
They are festive.
I am still watching for big sales and coupons.
