ShaZam
Bibbidi Bobbidi boo,
All magic words.
I tried them all.
Steve came out to help, (he is a plumber by trade)
He said, "Well it can't be rocket science"
He could not do it.
(As a matter of fact it felt like Rocket Science.)
No worries I have put the oven door back on.
Without the help of a repairman or a book or the store that sold it to me.
NO where in the book does it say, put the door back in, swing the locking mechanism up
and the door will drop in place. NO WHERE IN THE BOOK.
That was done on a wing and a prayer.
Truly I walked in the kitchen after taking several aspirin for my back.
I said, "God I need to get that out of the floor before it breaks, Give me an idea as to how it works."
Simple huh? Well God does care about the simple things.
I picked up the HEAVY door and set it on the hinge holder thingy.
I took my screwdriver and popped the lock up and
Voila
the door dropped in place.Perfect. As simple as a little locking mechanism. Which the book only mentioned once and that was when you take the door off, "The locking mechanism has to be released to remove the door"
Dave walked in and said, "So did they call to tell you what to do, I said, "Nope I did it myself and I am not calling the store, I am going to let him continue to search for the answer."
(If he is even searching).
By the way I did try to move the mechanism "while the door was on the floor" (sounds like the words to a song.) but it would not budge,The door had to be in the hinge holder thingy.
In other news. I am making Christmas dinner for the guys on the 23rd.
I want to and it has been approved. Of course the company is buying the food.
I am making Ham, Yams, Green beans, Fruit salad, Pumpkin Pies, Cookies Cranberry Bliss Bars, and Rolls. I am even putting bells on my boots when I go set it up.
I think they need a little Christmas at least a lot more than they get.
They are underprivileged and I want to help.
This is my Gift this year.
My Gift of Time.
