To Clarify

Our Son who lives about 120 miles away, did invite us.
We declined as we will be worn out.
Today drive that 120 miles as it is Vital (Santa dropped something here)
we go there before Christmas.
Wednesday I complete shopping and putting together dinner for the clients for Davids group.
Thursday, Dr apt. at 9 AM. Dinner for group at 11AM.
I look forward to the dinner for the guys.
It is my donation of my time to the needy.
Friday is Christmas Eve and we have Christmas Eve service at 3 or 5. We have not decided which time yet.
Then we have a day of rest. (Maybe)
But with all the flurry of the holidays, I was reminded of a day Long Long ago,
The Wise men hurried to the manger scene.
A choir of Angels appeared and sang. (Probably pretty loud.)
Shepherds were terribly busy but they had to hurry to Bethlehem.
The Stable was a flurry of activity so, What did Mary and Joseph do?
There was no way to feed the guests.
I choose to think they just stood in awe of their new baby.
In awe of the many people God had shown to the stable.
Here were Two parents just like us, knowing that this is only a moment in time.
So Rest is what we will probably do on Christmas Day or maybe even drive to the snow, I hear it is 20 or so feet deep at the Park.
Mountains always settle my spirit as I wonder at the majesty of our King.
