Year in Review

August---We finally got to take a trip to Lassen with Ken and Kris. We played in snow and had a picnic and they loved it. I was so proud to show the kids, "My Lassen"
Sept----Lost a BIL.
October---Nothing
November---Nothing
December---Nothing.
You get the picture, Not a lot going on around here.
I guess we can say we lead a pretty quiet life. Nothing happened this year that was memorable.
As David and I lay in bed yesterday, we thought and thought and thunk some more.
We could think of nothing to talk about for the year.
That is good. No hospital to go to, no major illnesses,  just breezing through life.
We did recall  we lost a BIL in September.
 My little sis and I talked over an hour last night and she is still so lost.
I am sure it will be this way for a long time.

2012,  we hope is different, we would love a trip to Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Maybe drive the Mustang on a long trip. Not as comfortable as the Grand Marquis so maybe not that. We need a long road trip.
We plan to save for that. A  trip to Washington sometime.
Maybe someone could come visit us, Ark's and Oaks,  hear that? We would love anyone to come stay a while. We have space. You all need the sunshine.

A Garden. Yep I want a garden this year.
I missed all my Clean- Fresh- Produce.
Having food to share.
I plan to take my Rose Garden out.
 It requires too much trimming and I was not a good keeper of the soil last year.
That is a sin to me. I may just move it to the old trailer space. More sun, More space, Spaced further apart. I can do it.
My rose area can become a flower garden.

Working on the garage to make it into a work (sewing room, office, extra bedroom)  area/living area.
Lots of swimming when the heat hits our area.

All I want this year is for my husband to be able to stay home and totally retire.
That would be a blessing. A Huge Blessing.

Life is Beautiful, The world is Amazing and The Blessings of God surround us.

 I just want to live Thankful.
