Long Dayyyy

David and I spent almost the entire day trying to repair a broken pool inlet line.
OH MY GOSH. What a disaster.
We can NOT work together on projects.
It gets funny, one time I began laughing and had to chastise myself and say STOP IT!!
He fell off his foot stool into the mud.
OK He puts his knees on a kneeling stool, which has sides so he can push himself back up.
Poor guy has such bad legs and I do feel sorry for him. I DO!!!! I REALLY DO!!!
But when he slipped and his hands went in the mud I had to laugh.
To know David you know he does not like to get his hands dirty.
In fact he constantly uses hand sterilizer, so often his hands look painful.
John C told him to get some lotion on those abrasive hands.
Yeah I keep it at each sink but he is too Manly to use lotion.
The pipe, well after two attempts we finally capped it off.
Later we will take an entire pipe and remove the three Couplers, the ball valve, the extra pipe and repair it proper.
David also ran into the home store to get a gasket for our leaky commode.
Yes everything here is falling apart.
I think we are going to join the stuff and become stuff that falls apart.

However my children will be glad to know.
I said, "I will not help you at all, unless you ask."
OH man I had a hard time staying out of the bathroom and offering my assistance.
(I am a tad bit bossy, know it all, can do it all person.)

I love challenges and repairing a toilet is just one I have accomplished.
He is such a treasure to have,
I have to remember he is brillant but he is not mechanical.
Never has been, Never will be. That is OK.
I am not brillant. I do not care for numbers but he loves numbers.
I love him so all is well.
