Monday, Monday

 Monday, Monday, Can't trust that day!!
Oh wait it is not Monday, It just feels Monday. Will you believe we lay in bed yesterday until 11, then when we got up, showered and made brunch it was 12:11?
Wow we were Lazy. We sat around most of the day, Ate sandwiches and home made rolls for dinner.
Day complete when I dipped a banana in Hot fudge sauce. I Love my homemade fudge sauce,  easy to make, Delicious to eat.
Recipe, You want it,

1/2 cup very hot brewed coffee.
3/4 cup Dark Dutch Cocoa, (I use Rodelle but Hershey's will do)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup, (you can make your own syrup using sugar and water, we called it sugar syrup, now they call it simple syrup)
Mix above ingredients in a bowl.

Meanwhile melt
4 Oz chopped chocolate, ( I use 1/2 cup choco chips)
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter.
in top of double boiler. When melted, add coffee mixture, remove from heat and  whisk until glossy.( about a minute)
Eat Now or Later. It is So Good and So Easy.

Tonight we are meeting friends for dinner at Casa Ramos. It has been a long time since we ate there, And it is usually really great food.
We missed church Sunday as we were on the way to YC. We had not seen the kids since Thanksgiving. It was so great visiting with them but mostly we sat at the table with Ken and Kris and talked. And I had my hair styled by Kiara. Oh my it was funny, Kris posted a photo on face book as soon as she took it, So 10 seconds ago. LOL
So today I get to relax,. snack, take med, call family, nap if wanted, clean sewing room. I do not have to think of dinner. YEAAAAAAA
David got up early to work on books and rested most of yesterday.
It was nice, just watching movies and talking.

We need more of those days.
