One more trip

We were supposed to go to Rethas yesterday, It was so nice outside, when we walked out, we wanted to stay there. So the logicl thing to do, Mow the lawns, clean the pool, and generally relax in the sun.
We did go to Rethas today. I think we are pretty much through. We got all the kitchen cabinets cleaned out, books packed up, We threw away a lot of things.
Sheri I got the most beautiful cake stand. It was Big Mamas, (Mrs Green), It is Milk Glass, Retha got rid of everything, It really bothered me and your Dad. She had an egg plate and a bowl that her Mom got her for a wedding gift. She told me to take it. I asked if she had room for any of it, Her answer was "Why? I really dont need anything." She kept one coffee cup, two plates, one microwave plate and a few plastic tumblers. She had no food in her cabinets, and when I told her that was not good, she opened the freezer and showed me a stack of TV dinners. I guess I worry too much about her, I just think she is not living, she is only existing.
She is a lot of fun to visit, However you all know the the issue of showers and laundry after a visit. Ken always accuses me of smoking again. Darn I thought I had it hid.
I wish I were not like that, I am not a snob, I do love my family, but I feel awful when I have difficulty breathing. I never would want her to know, She is so kind.
I am so thankful she went back to her old self, I finally have a sister close by, one I can laugh and chat with often. She is probably the most generous, honest person I know.
God will bless her heart, I know.
I just feel as if she is preparing for the inevitable. Hurts deep.
