OK I will try to think of something meaningful.. The weather here is wonderful. Today. It was supposed to be around 80 but stayed cloudy until later this afternoon.
I slept a lot today, for some reason I was terribly tired. I forced myself awake at 3.15. The phone rang twice but I was so tired I refused to get up and answer it. I had woke up two or three times unable to breath. Good think I wake up, of course once I am awake I breath fine, I must hold my breath or something when I sleep and I am that tired.
I have lots to do in the next two weeks, I am having the sale I mentioned previously. I have 3 aprons ready, plus I am making breads, jams, scones, cinnamon rolls, outrageous brownies and candies. I am not sure of the prices I will put on it yet. Norma knows more about what will sell than I do, and I do not want to overprice.
Today Ronnie was here working on the water lines and electric and sewage at the old mobile site. It was a mess. You knwo Ronnie, once he starts something he does not slow down. Your dad and I went out later today and dug some more, trying to trace the sewage line to the garage. It goes downhill the wrong way. We lost it at the sidewalk.
I am sure Ron will find it, he is going to get the plumbing and sewage correct in the garge for us. We really cant afford to put in a new bathroom so maybe he will be happy with just plumbing it. But knowing him he will find a commode and sink for us. We have a sink cabinet, Thank you Mike, and we will put it in there.
So what else is new here, Not much, Dad is doing good. same as always, just cant eat spanish food, We had that on Monday and he threw up at night.
We got out car back on Tuesday, How is that for service, we took it in on Monday and got it on Tuesday. The rear bumper looks great. Miller did a great job. Plus let me tell you, dont ever buy a PT Cruiser. The gas mileage is autrocious, I drove a total of 99 miles and it took 5 plus gallons of gas. Now that is not bad for a big car, My car gets better than that, but for a small box, you expect more.
I totally killed a 20 dollar bill when I took it back to the rental agency.
So that is my update. I will try to do better.

Our week in Review
I have been so tired this week, I have accomplished very little. I spent Monday in my art class. Sighing and having sweats. Then I came home and did nothing. Not even make the bed.
Tuesday was pretty much a rerun of Monday minus the class. I was so tired, walking to my bedroom and I was out of breath. I never, Never thought this would happen to me. I love being active, perhaps getting busy will help. Wednesday, I called Sher to let her know I felt better. she said, I sounded tired on Tuesday, when she called. However I sat around and painted china, cleaned the shower, OK I am tired again, so I sit more.
When your Dad got home we worked on our garden spot a while. It needed the rows made and I could not make them but I could help. We finished them, and now when the kids get here I will let them help plant. Onions, lettuce, radishes, Herbs, Tomatoes, and all kinds of cut flowers. We are keeping it simple this year, I cant work it as much as I have in the past. I just want to cut flowers and keep a vase full.
Did I tell you we now have 40 rose bushes, 6 of the purple hedge rose and 2 thornless runners on a trellis, That one is almost ready to bloom, I will send photos as soon as it is ready to show.
Today I have to go shopping, I need eggs for the kids, they will be here today or tomorrow. I look so forward to the visit. I guess you all know We Adore our Grandchildren. All of them and each one of them are so special in their own way. As we think of each one we see something different in our hearts,
Jarod we see his sweet, sheepish grin, Jarod is a lover. He loves his family so much and is someone gets hurt he is so concerned.
Cay's dancing eyes, and legs and huge smile. He loved his Uncle Charles, I think of the day Charles would swing him onto his shoulders, the swing him down. Cay went back for another turn then said "That was exciting" with his eyes dancing.
Evans trying to be cool but wanting to hug and checkout the house. That kid is too smart for his own good. I always knew he was very intelligent, The first time his Mom let him take a vacumn apart and re assemble it. He did a good job. Hey the vacumn had bit the dust anyway. LOL
Kiara, wells she loves her papaw. Me, she is OK with, but she will always go to him first. Sweet and determined. Wonder where she got that. I see changes in her every time I see her. She is all girl, but I bet she can be tough when needed.
With Charles boys, we see Josh big smile and recall when Papaw baby sat him and took him walking every weekend. Well papaw walked, josh ran to every blade of grass to show or watch the ducks,
Then came Nic. so quiet and un-assuming, but loved attention. We loved the time he spent with us, I found out he can eat and talk , that is when he does not have a game boy .
Joey would fall asleep at the drop of a hat, One minute he was playing, you look away and he had dropped his head and was asleep. Joe is so much like his dad was at that age. Reading, riding bikes and loving his family.
D, sweet, kind, compassionate and funny. He loved to go to Dam Burger and we always recall when he asked to go get one of those Dam Sandwiches. D is growing into a young man that puts God first in all his decisions, and life.
M, Now that was a baby that wanted her Mommy,(Just like Kiara,) But she did grow out of that, somewhat, She loved to dance (Dancing queen) and M is so photogenic. I do not have one bad photo of her, she just loves her picture taken, Heck if I looked like that I would want mine taken too.
G, Loves to be held and cuddled. I spent a lot of days just sitting with him in my lap, watching television. He would ask me to sit and hold him, I would say I had something to do, then I would stop and remind myself he was not going to do that forever. I would then hold him. He still can cuddle pretty easily. Love his laugh.
E, well what do you say about the quadruple personality. He is busy, busy, When he lived here he would come into the house smiling, and that blonde hair stood out, or should I say that blonde boy stood out. When they were here Christmas I told him he had peanut butter on his face but I would kiss it off, He let me kiss him then he said "There is some here, and here", pointing to another part of his cheek or corner of his lips, so I got to kiss him more.
We only have one prayer for all of them, Keep God as the ruler of your life. Don't do something just because it looks cool, or everyone else is doing it, Stand apart from the world. Be noticed for your Love of God, nothing else matters in this world. Have a testimony.

Floods
While watching all the flooding in Texas this year, I recalled a time of a flood in Hurricane creek. As some of you recall, when it rains in That region, at times it rains so hard and so fast the ground cant soak it up, Therefore we had flash floods.
It was 1958 or 1959. Uncle John Henry lived down the Redfield road, For some reason, my Mom was concerned about them, I never knew why. We all loaded into our 1956 pink and White Chevy. It was, big and Heavy. Thank God.
When we reached the bridge over Hurricane, it was flooded. We could see the water. My older brother, Edward said "Oh, its not too bad, I can make it, it is clear ahead". My Mom told him it was not a good idea, However she did not say NO. So across the bridge we go. Dumb idea. We saw nothing but water. Edward knew the road pretty well and perhaps there was road markers on the side. If there were, they had to be at least 6 foot tall. All I saw was muddy water, What I could see, it was dark, The car trudged on through the water, AT times it covered the headlights. It was flowing fast, all kind of debris floating past. I do not think our car ever left the road, those wheels were held in place by God.
I was terrified, None of us could swim and if the car died out, we would have been lost and swept away by the flood waters.
To make matters worse, when we got to Uncle John Henry's, no one was home. We would have spent the night, and tomorrow the water would be down. No, we had to turn around and go back through that flood.
How dumb is that? Edward was the most stubborn person I ever met, if he said it, that is the way it was.
I asked Mama why we did that, and she often told me, "I don't know what I was thinking, We could have died that night, I prayed all time we were driving through that water,"
That old car never sputtered, hydroplaned or anything, We had an angel in our car.
Did I say the road was gravel, that added to the drama, Old Red gravel Arkansas road.
