This week's promise:
God is always willing to forgive us
How have you experienced God's forgiveness?
Come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.

Even if he wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness,
forgive him.

About this week's promise
Since forgiveness is an expression of love, a person whose life has an endless supply of love should be demonstrating an endless supply of forgiveness. We can experience unlimited love in our relationship with God. It is this resource that makes it possible for us to forgive others again and again. First, we recognize that God forgives us time and time again. Second, we want to express God's love in a world that needs desperately to witness it.

My Thoughts on this subject!
Lord!!! How many times Have I waited for that apology? So many times!
It took you to make me realize I was the one that was in the wrong, spiritually and physically and emotionally.
I was losing out on your great love and forgiveness because of human nature.
I was missing out on insurmountable peace. Peace to know my heart was good in your sight. No bitter wounds to heal.
I was unwilling to take a first step, therefore I missed the blessings of your love.
We are all guilty of the same sins.
Sins of self absorption and self righteousness.
So what if someone has hurt you. Your testimony is to accept them and pray for them.
I think of my sister and I, we were at odds, for a couple of years. (nothing major just stupidity)
We missed so much companionship and tenderness. We are truly close in Hearts although not close in miles.
While taking a day trip,
I saw her hand resting on the car seat.
God said, "Reach over and take it,"
I looked at it for a while, (wondering do I do this,) Her hand never moved, God kept dealing with my heart.
Finally with tears in my eyes, I made the connection,
I took her hand and told her how much I loved her. She responded in kind.
It was as if we were reaching across the 2000 miles that separate us. Reaching to heal and be healed.
Healing complete and what a wondrous blessing it was.
We think alike, we are a lot alike. Our main interest in life has been making a home for our families.
We cook, we sew, we clean, we love deeply.
We have the same interest and deep affection for each other. She taught me so much, I pray now I can return the favor and teach her.
What can I teach her?
Anything she ask me for.
How did we resolve our issues?
We each apologized for our actions. We forgave and we would forgive again and again, We are sisters, not only in blood, but in the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So in reading my thoughts for the week, I had to share this experience.
Perhaps someone out there in blog land has an issue they need resolved. Follow the lead of our savior, Forgive 7 times a day if needed.
I was wrong, If not in my eyes, certainly in the eyes of God and that is what matters most.
I knew I could not continue to live peacefully
without the love and respect of my family.
That too matters, more than we care to admit.
Family Matters most on this Earth!!
