A Reason to Dream
Here I am sitting with chin in my hand,
wondering what I should do.
The beds are made, the breakfast is over,
So now I am talking to you.
Life is sneaking up on us
and quickly passing away.
Kiss the kids for us, Tell them we love them
The rest you know what to do.
.
We recall the days of our "Santa,"
knowing our parents did not have much.
Praying we were good so he would stop by,
Anticipation hung in the air.
As children full of wonder and hope,
We prayed for the night to end.
Give those children a reason to dream,
A life without dreams is a
life with no hope.
The man on the corner still has hope.
Today he carries a sign,
"Please I am hungry, Please I need help".
He still carries his hope.
At night in his dreams,
He dreams of his life when all was provided,
and remembers the days of his youth.
Take care of yourselves,
Take care of each other,
Life is a dream in Reverse.
We live in our dreams, Our dreams never die.
Give hope to all that you meet.
Smile that big smile.
Know in your heart
All is well on the Earth,
Because of the savior, we honor his birth
Today as we dream of our youth
Our hope and memories are in you.
So take care of yourselves.
Don't forget to dream.
Life is full of happiness and hope.
