Women are Powerful People

I heard this on "Cops". Really I had to sit back and take notice.

(Lead In)
A couple are watching television, "Wife Swap" or something like that.
A discussion ensues. The man says, "If my child is gay I will beat him or her daily until they become a man or woman".
The Mother said, "You can't do that, You guide them and lead them but you cant beat them. You have to love them for who they are."
The Man became irate, the argument ensued. The argument went up the stairs where she was running to, afraid for her life or being hit, (he had hit before).

The Lady called the police.
The police heard, "He is beating us or going to beat us because my child has an alternate lifestyle." They thought they were going in on a call for a beating right now.
Not 15 or so years down the road.

(Scene)
As the police arrive the man is outside. He is polite and lets the police into the house. The Wife is sitting on the sofa crying. She obviously is young and frightened.
She explains to the officer about the Television show, and says their child is 16 months old.
No he has not hurt her . Previously he has and she is frightened.
She leaves the house with the baby, all the while backing out so she can keep an eye on her husband.
All is well.

(Women are powerful.)
The police go in to question the Perp further. He tells the Lady cop how he WILL beat his child until they become a man or a woman. He does not back down from his statement, but Mom and baby are safe out of the house.
The man pulls out a Fathers day card, showing the officer, "See they gave me this card. It says I am the Head of the House, Master of my domain, Just As God planned."
He said, (to a lady cop). "You women are powerful, Yeah really powerful, God made Adam and Eve, and Eve caused Adam to commit treason against God."
Treason!!!!!! (New word for sinning.)
"So (according to the perp) (short for perpetrator) God came down after Adam and Eve sinned, and said, "Eve, will you please be submissive to your husband?" He is the head of the house."

OK about now I am really listening, I never saw it that way, but you know.

That man may have a point.

WOMEN ARE POWERFUL!!!!!!!
WE MADE MAN SIN, at least they like to blame us.
