As you all know I listen to K-Love, most of the time. It is the only radio station I tune to, in my car or beside my bed or in the living area.
I get so many blessings from this one area of my life. I listen to the songs, I listen to my heart.
I pray for all my loved ones.
Today, I recalled the day I was introduced to K-Love.
In 2004 or 05, Sheri and I were headed into town. She had the radio on, Suddenly from the back seat, I hear, "News Boys, News boys". Although the speech was not as clear.
I said, "What is he saying?" She said, "News Boys, he wants to hear their CD."
She instantly put it on and he smiled.
His little angelic face lit up and he knew some of the words.
From that day on I turned my car radio to that station and slowly began listening to alternative Christian Music.
As an old Southerner, I was raised on Southern Gospel. This in no way was Southern Gospel but it drew my heart. It caused me to open my ears and hear the messages.
I have to say now, it is my life raft in this drowning world.
Thank You K-Love for lifting my spirits and heart.

I don't even remember that. But then they were always clamoring to hear one of the Christian Alternative CD's so it was a common occurrence.
Mercy Me and David Crowder were in Sacramento a couple weeks ago. One of the agents who is also a pastor invited me to go. I should have Mercy Me is one of the best.
