Rude or Fun

April Fool

This morning at 6 AM I was awaken rather rudely. David was standing beside the bed.
In his hands were a pair of his underwear.
He said, "Sweetie, I know you don't like waking up now but do you recognize these?'" I mumbled something and then he said, "Do these shorts ring a bell?" (don't I wish)
Anyway, I grinned and said, "NO Why would they?"
David, "You little brat, you sewed the fly closed."
I grinned again and said, "Yep, sorry"
I almost said, "It was an accident but how do you accidently sew underwear flys together?"

He walked away ,while I think, "Just wait until you pull the next pair out."
In a few minutes I hear, "How many did you do that way?"
He is laughing.
I get up and say, "Only two, you are safe now"
Remember I am the one that has to rip the seams back out. Did I say I hate ripping out seams?
To me that is the worse part of sewing.

He hugs me and grins and said, "Susie what am I to do with you?"
See he loves it when I do silly stuff to him.
For example yesterday I taped the toilet seat entirely down, There was mailing tape all over the seat, so when he sat down, Whoops! He sits on top instead of sitting in a little.
LOL LOL LOL
He came down the hall then grinning and said, "I almost sat on that."
Wastefully innocent trick. Wasting tape but fun anyway.
We hugged and had a good laugh about who would clean it up.
Not me I was making dinner.
I love to pull jokes on him, he is so good natured about them and it keeps him guessing,
I believe in a happy marriage, you have to keep them smiling, and Let them know you never forgot how to be young.
