I just woke at 9 this morning, I was wiped out. I figured it out though.
I swam about 400 feet yesterday. I swam around and around the pool, at least ten times, OK the pool is 40 feet long, I made circles so that cut off a few feet. If not I could say, 800 feet. Safely say, 400 feet. I swam to the bottom a lot, as usual, and stayed under as long as I could. I also had the fountains on so the swimming was against pressure.
Not bad for an older lady.
I have been so lazy lately, not making beds, not cleaning floors, not sweeping down webs, not sorting or sewing. I have several items to sew, I just cant make me sit in a chair that long. My eyes get so tired I want to sleep. If I am not sleeping or moving hoses I am swimming.
Tough Life.
As I played around yesterday with my floater, I thought of G and me, riding it like a sea horse and him guiding the way. Now that was work but worth the effort.
We thougth of E loving the water and loving to be thrown across the pool and hit the water. coming up and saying Again daddy, Again. He is one tough kid.
Do you all recall your Dad swimming with you on his tummy? We did. I can still picture Sheri and Ken sitting on their dads tummy while he back paddled down the pool.
I can still see the games, (HOP ON POP). That was always fun.
He always came up laughing and yelling, "you silly kids are gonna drown me."
So that is my pity party today.
I am kind of out of it right now. I better go make my bed and transfer laundry. Maybe I can stay inside today. Although I see mole hills in my front yard. DARN THE PEST.
No promise though.
Anyone wanna come over and swim with me?
