Of course I had to call my daughter and ask how to make it, I found several sets of directions but some seemed too involved.
I remember she made it and her recipe was really good.
It turned out nice. Clay and Marie, (great friends) were over for dinner. I made a salad, French bread and again, Sheri's recipe, for Cranberry Bliss.
They loved it all.
As they left Clay asked me where was his cake. I ran back in to take a plate out to them.
(After picking squash and digging potatoes and loading their car with melons.)
I love to see old Friends. They are so special.
I think how much I love them all.
You know we have been through it all together,.
Some of their children babysit for us, Some of our children grew up together, We had children births together, the graduations, College graduations, weddings, births of grandchildren, and now some of our friends have great grandchildren. We have even attended Grandchildren weddings and showers for the birth of their great grandchildren.
We have been there for deaths of parents, and the stress our own children face as adults.
We are there for each other.
What a wonderful ride we have been on together.
We may not always have seen eye to eye, but we always respected the others opinions.
I would not trade one minute of our times and laughter together for any time back.
Now we are here to look out for each other, to pray for one another and hold each other up.
Love does not always see Eye to Eye,
but it does walk Hand in Hand.
