Feet

David has horrible feet. He always has, or as long as I have known him.
For over the summer I have tried to get him to a pedicurist.
I had mine done last week and they feel great. To be honest I had gray paint on the soles of my feet and it would not come off, no matter how hard I scrubbed.
So today, I said, "I am taking you to the salon, You feet need help and I can't do it."
You know, He enjoyed it and he is going back in a month.
He has horrible calluses and in a few months she assured him they could soften and get them off.
The technician said, "His feet are so dry, They need help"
I asked what she recommended.

His calluses have actually bled, the ones  between his toes, they get really sore, crack and bleed and heal. Only to start the process again.  Now he can stay ahead of the pain and soreness.
His feet already look  better. And they feel better to the touch.
So you men who think you are too MANLY to have this done, Think again.
Don't you think  it is time you treated yourself?

While there he also had her trim his nails, He can not manage the clippers any longer and I am horrible at it.

For 49 years I have trimmed and cleansed and softened his feet, but he needed more expert care.
I gave him a gift of a pedicure and he had to accept it.

And that is our Saturday, Not a lot going on, I will be out after while moving rock and digging up dead plants off the drive. Then when we clear out some of the rock it can go to the needy bare spaces.

I have a Dream, I have a Dream, that someday all these little chores, difficult or easy will be done. There will be no more chores to drag me down. No more chores to keep my mind jumping.
Or WILL It?
