Samuel

Today as I read of this child's pain, I thought of healing and how, as humans, we do not understand the plan of God.
This song kept playing in my head as I read his story of today.
Sam, was born with Spinal  Bifida among many other ailments.
His little upper spine is twisted, his lives with a colostomy bag.
He is very intelligent and has the face of an angel.
And He LOVES, OH How he can LOVE.
He was a baby, born with adoption papers in hand.
His adoptive parents knew The baby was theirs even though they expected a whole baby, no problems.
However with saying that, Sam is a whole baby, he is perfect in the site of God.
He suffers a lot of surgeries and pain. He is right now in the hospital In San Francisco.
He is recouping as well as can be expected. I hear he tells the Nurses and Doctors to "Go Away Please."
Of course they cant, he has to have dressing changes and blood draws.
My heart aches for him but I heard this song and I know, Healing is out there, the best is yet to come.

Sometimes all we have to hold on to
Is what we know is true of who You are
So when the heartache hits like a hurricane
That could never change who You are
And we trust in who You are

Even if the healing doesn’t come
And life falls apart
And dreams are still undone
You are God You are good
Forever faithful One
Even if the healing
Even if the healing doesn’t come

This song is by Kutless, I have the video  posted to my Facebook page.
His smile  makes my little troubles go away.

Even though I have known his Dad since birth, and have always been a family friend.
We consider ourselves, Aunt and Uncle.
Our children often think of all  our friends as Aunt and Uncles.
Their children as their cousins. They care for each other.
That is our friendship  based on God in our lives.
