Off Again

My boss just called and my product for demo did not arrive. I am off tomorrow. YEA!!!
Yes it really cuts into my income but I have loved the past week off. I was working two days this pay period. She said, "You can work Friday on Breaks if you like, I said, Sure" So I do work Friday and Tuesday on something. That will give me three days for this pay period. (Pay periods are two weeks)  That is enough for me now.
I have two doctor appointments on Monday. No big deals, I am sure all blood work was fine. It is just follow ups, all but Dr. Aikman, He will schedule me for total body scans in February.  YUCK!!! That will be OK as long as I can go to the cancer center for my shots, if I have to go cold turkey for two weeks that is when it gets bad. Cold turkey as in no thyroid hormones in my body AT ALL. I can tell you, that is not a good thing. However I am tough and I can take it, I know it is short lived.

Really I do not mind the cut backs on hours. I have a roof over my head, food on my table, and everything I need. I rather see some of the ladies that have to depend on this getting hours. We have two men and two boys that work also. I say boys, they are in their early 20's. Two men that are super nice and  they too  need hours.

I am enjoying getting my work completed at home.
 Lights are on my tree. I need to buy new ornament hangers before completing my project.
I have such horrible hangers, they are like thin, very thin wire. I want something stable.
My Angel still has a broken wing, I need to get that repaired. A little super glue and I am good to go. My other angel is so old, she is separating from her dress and fur. I have to find a remedy for that one too.

David is doing pretty well in therapy. He goes three times a week and has 12 visits approved. He is very hopeful. (Today) Tomorrow the hope may leave, especially if the pain kicks in.
Tomorrow I think  I will  get my cookies made and in the freezer. You know there is just something about a holiday cookie. Pies and cakes are great but they can get old. Cookies? They seem to last for a long time, Anytime you want something sweet, go grab a Gingersnap or a Cranberry cookie or better yet, a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie.
I will have them all together tomorrow. I may even make the chocolates Charles loves. Not sure because we do not need to eat that much. I can freeze them and they freeze really well.
Did you know you can add Black Walnut flavoring, Maple flavoring or whatever you like? David likes the maple ones.
I would make millionaires but Rosie , my Sis and Shelle, my DIL is good at those, I am not so much. They were OK but I did not like the looks of them. If I make it, I want it to look good.

So right now I have David addressing Christmas cards and getting them ready to go. That is a big help. I just need a few addresses.
