When Ki Ki grows up he will read this and laugh or blush or something but he will know Mamaw Loves him anyway.
We had a wonderful day, Or I did.
First David and I made two garden rows then Ken and the three babies drove in. Just in time to get us
OUT of the Garden.
We went in, hugged the kids and I hit the shower. Whew it was HOT already and only 10 Am.
I then showed the kids our Green Eggs. Later we made Green eggs and Ham.
(Eggs are green from the kind of chicken it is?( I don't know?) I buy farm fresh eggs from my neighbor)
The Ham was Canadian Bacon.
The guys got to work, Ken repaired pipes.
Thank God for his help.
He replaced the pool fill line, repaired a cross threaded faucet and stopped a leak.
All in record time.
He then put up the SALE Sign.
That is my Baby Boy, when did he learn to use a drill and be so precise in his work and so quick?
No that can't be, he is my baby boy.
The little ones and I walk to Tila's to see the chickens. They are not home, so we watch the chickens in the yard and the kiddos are in amazement.
Kiara Loved the black ones with the white fuzzy heads.
As we turned to leave the geese spotted us. Here they come. K wanted to go to them, I was unsure as I knew when I was a kid we had a goose that loved to fight. Oh Yeah David loved to get in the pen with him and the fight was on, David laughing all the time. The old Goose flogging.
So we walked on with the kids giggling at the way the geese wobbled.
What else did I do? Guess!!!!!!!!!
OK it was HOT, the kids kept saying, "I really want to get in the pool"
Finally (after about 15minutes) I OK the pool, We go in to check it out and I let them dangle their feet on the steps. Of course I dangle with them.
Then I say, "OK girls you do not have suits so you can go in your undies, (they are 5 and 8) KI KI is 3.
They strip and love the water, I slather them with Sun Screen. Over and Over, just to be sure we had no burns but Kris, they do have a little California Sunshine color.
We spent about an hour in then I got them out for a while to eat a bite of something and drink water.
Back to the pool we go and I think we spent most of the day there.
I am burned, They are fine. I did protect my little nose. It always seems to burn.
Later about 4 PM Ken and David hit the pool with us. They were so hot from working in the sun, David has a burned face but he is fine. I noted Kens face seemed a little red.
I finally left them with the kids and I came in and made dinner, Orange chicken, mashed taters, Organic Rice and served later was Mothers Day cake and Ice Cream.
The kids were so full and so happy. I bet they slept all the way home.
They kept trying to figure out how to stay here.
Ken asked KiKi, "What about Mommy, She will miss you, ?" He just thought a minute.
Ken then asked, "What about Evan He misses you,"
Quickly KiKi said, "Evan can come here."
Yes I think we have made an indelible mark on our Grandchildren.
They Love to be here and Mamaw and Papaw love it too.
Life is so short and their little lives are so precious, You must enjoy each moment you are allowed.
Some are not so Precious, Like when Ki Ki turned my cool deck into a Poop Deck.
Yeah I did clean it up and it happened so fast but Thank God he was on the deck not the pool.
We would have to drain the pool.
Gotta love those babies and all live brings.
Oh I called Kiara, Madi, several times, then later I called KiK Ethan. Go Figure.
