My Mind Was Made Up

I was going to church today. After 4 weeks straight of working Sundays, I needed a lift.
I had gotten up a couple of times to go to restroom, get a drink, etc. I felt fine.
Suddenly I moved to get up and ready myself for church. my back had frozen up. I was hurting so bad I could barely move, (I had to bend over to get my Pajama bottoms and socks on.)
I refused to give up.
I went into the kitchen and made coffee. I hurt.
I walked to the office, I told David, "I am going to church, pain or no pain so  it may as well stop"
And it did (stop) and I did (go to church).
It was a great worship service.
The final call was for people wanting to be more filled with the holy spirit of God.
I was up. About half of the audience stood. We stood and prayed.
That is what I want in my life. If I am more full of him, myself, me will be minimal.

Pastor Brian gave a good message on Genesis 6th chapter and parts of 7.
Read it then do a Study of Wind in the Bible. I  found his teaching enlightening.
God uses East winds to talk to us, teach us and move seas, dry up land, and move a basket down the river.
I must research more.

Then on K-Love I heard a quote from  2 Timothy 1-9. Oh heck read the entire chapter. Verse 15 states, Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
God Created us for Heaven, (not for hell, as some say)
Anyway, We are created by God, Breathed the breath of life in us by God.
He is here to save us and it is our CHOICE to choose his Love and  blessings. His only mission on earth was to become as human, feel our pain, our suffering then die and resurrect Just for US.
We then came home and rested.
Tomorrow is Little Not ME's birthday. He is 4 and we need little hugs. So off to visit we go. Plus we have his Birthday present. Again the back better behave itself.
