Today I set here listenign to the ads for Russian Nutcracker Ballet. I always took Sher and in later years, Sher and M.
Last year I took M shopping for her new dress for the show. We went to several stores then on to my favorite. TJ Maxx. M found several she liked, One I picked up she said "No I dont like that one'. so when time came to try on I asked if she would jsut try it on. She said "ure Mamaw but I really dont like it" When we got to the dressing room, she tried all her choices on and none looked quite right. Then came mine, It was a black Moire satin with drop shoulders, and one strap to cover the shoulders, It was princess cut with a built in crenoline. She put it on and said "Wow this is beautiful, I feel like a princess". We then bought a purse and Her mom bought her a tiara. She did look like a princess that night.
We then went out to dinner before the show, the restaurant was full, "Olive Garden" One little boy, who I am sure will grow up to be a casanova, came over to us and looked M up and down, then said " Nice purse and really Nice crown". Never had I seen such an outgoing little man. I am equally sure he was her age but definitely not her size, he was at least 8 inches shorter, but that didnt stop him, he knew how to use charm and that is what matters.
While we were eating I could not help but laugh, M was looking like a princess but acting like a 7 year old, Sher asked me why I was laughing and I said, It is pay back fot the times I wanted you to act like a proper little lady but instead you made faces and giggled. So little girls are and will always be just that Little girls.
Kiara, get yourself prepared Mamaw and Mommy and you will go see the nutcracker someday.
. At this time I have no one to take. Our first time was the year Sheri turned 13 years old. That was her birthday present, I took her and a few of her friends.
One year we took Mashelle as a surprise, but I think the surprise was on us, We had told her we were going shopping, instead we went to the Nutcracker, She wanted to go shopping, She kept saying "You mean we dont get to go shopping". I really wanted to do something neat for her, she had never been to the nutcracker.
Sheri and I planned that for weeks, We got all dressed up, we told her she had to really dress up as this was girls night out.
So now the Russian troup is here again and I miss my daughter even more than ever. Funny how little things make the heart weep.
Have a great week kids and girls think of me and the nutcracker, I may take Nancy as Dad is not really interested and Nancy has never been, Imagine that. Never going to the nutcracker.

It is Finished
We now have the garage and well shed painted the same color as the house. Looks really great. I will post pictures as soon as I get the outside cleaned up around the shed. We still have all the bikes and ladders and motor equipment lying around outside.
Now we need to get Ronnie here to put in a new door to the garage and put up a new motion sensor light. Actually we have no outside lights on the old garage yet.
So on to our next project.
Bye

Grandpas Road
Last night as I was sewing my quilt, I thought of my Grandpa, He was a wonderful old man. To me he was just Grandpa. He spent most of his time on the Quachita River. He loved to fish. That is how he made a living. His tools consisted of a carbide light, that is a light that you fill with carbide and you can place it on your hat, so your hands are free to work the nets, poles etc, at night. Yes my grandpa fished at night too.
He also had a boat, not a big fancy one but a wood one, He may have even made it himself. I can still see that old boat leaning against a tree, only in bad weather though. On that same tree was a net strung between the limbs so it would dry out. He went out every day.
I still can picture one catfish he caught, It was huge, and this is not an exaggeration, That fish was so big it filled the entire bed of a truck, and its tail extended over the back, I was afraid to get too close. It was almost like a monster from the deep. I often told David about that fish and he often argued with me that was not possible, so you know me, I proved it ., While visiting my Mom I said 'Mama did Grandpa catch a huge catfish that filled a truck"? She said Yes he did and when I was just a girl he caught one just as big. I was in the boat with him, and I could nto swim, I was sure I was going to drown. she often fished with grandpa, so when they moved to our town, my mama took her papa to the river every year. she took good care of her daddy. She called him PAPA.
When we would go to their house, we had to watch for fish scales, My grandpa cleaned fish anywhere he felt like it. We went barefooted a lot and a fish scale in a foot was sheer pain.
When we would go to visit, there was no bridge at the river, so my uncles, his sons, made or bought a ferry , so we would cross the river on that ferry. When the car was put onto the ferry, we had to get out and sit on the river bank, then we had to sit on the ferry, as far away from the water as possible. I asked my uncle Hugh, "how did you power that ferry, I know you didnt have a motor." He explained, There was a cable over the river, they then took a hook and pulled the ferry across the river. Amazing huh?
Today a bridge stands at that old house, and the house still stands. A testament to the quality of building in the early 1900s. I played under that house a lot. It was and is at least 6 feet off the ground. That is in case of flooding, which that river does often.
Mama told me when I was a baby they lived in that house, the river came up and she refused to get in the boat with all us kids, she was afraid it would tip, The water was rushing, as you know flood water do. They had to evacuate, Daddy picked me up in a blanket and took me to the boat, she said she had no choice but to follow, he had the babies and no way was she letting him take the babies out without her.
I recall lots of good times on that river, the place we often visited and definitely visited every July Fourth. My uncles came to the river to see us and camp with us every time we went. My uncle Hugh told me jokes all time. He said he loved to make me laugh. And I always was a easy mark for his jokes. I really thank God for my family I grew up with, I had wonderful Uncles. One uncle let me get in a chair behind him and comb his hair, He had curly hair and he was so handsome.
Uncle James talked like Donald Duck. He made me laugh at that too. I asked him a few years ago, did he still do it, He smiled and talked for me. Ken does that now and Jarod is trying to copy him. I asked Kris what is wrong with Jarods voice, she said "Oh Ken is talking like Donald and Jarod is tryign to copy. LOL
Anyway I have lots of stories, I really need to write them down.
Oh in case you have never seen a ferry, I have photo of that ferry, I picked it up at a museum in Sparkman, They copied it for me.

Conversations
Our conversation at Monday Art Class went like this.
Sue Hayes," My neighbor has a 17 year old son, he is disrespectful and into trouble.' She said her Neighbor says "Well that is just the way teenagers are, I cant do anything about it".
Now that opened a door for all us, we all had input, of course none of us had children that were disrespectful. At least while growing up. Remember this is a room full of over 60 year olds, (with the exception of me).
I do not understand that statement, It is just the way teens are!No NO NO that is not the way teens are. It is something that has been allowed from the beginning,
like from birth, you have lost the battle before it began. There should never have been a battle over authority.Like our battle with God, He is the untimate authority. I cannot count the time we spent on our knees asking for guidance in making the right decisions regarding your salvation and any problem that may have come up.
When God gave you the children, they were to be raised by instilling in them Love, Trust, Truth, Honesty, Any trait you can think of that is good you instill in them.Any trait that they pick up when they leave your protection is Not Not your
responsibility. You only pray that God keeps his hands on them and keeps them in the fold of his loving arms. They will stray, but the truth is instilled in them.
Raise up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Hey did I wander from the original thought?
Anyway Teens are taught respect for others and you are the guiding hands to make their lives grow in him.
Life at home often affects a child. I see it in one part of my original family, Every one of their children are divorced and on to the second or third marriage. Every week of their lives they Heard, "I am going to get a divorce, I cant stand you" now most of you know who I am referring to, Children learn what they live!!
We tried to do the right things, we do know some of the things we did were not correct but you often fail, but you pick yourself up and try again.
That reminds me of a song Iused to sing, "Its not the one who never fails on lifes weary trail, that will someday hear the Lord say Enter IN, but its the one who knelt down at calvary and found THE COURAGE TO TRY ONCE AGAIN"
Never beat yourself up over a failure, just try agin to make things right. Become the lead in Salvation in your Home.
Sheris comment regarding her Dad was so true. He has always been an example for each of you kids to follow, Did he ever fail, you know that answer, He did but he never let go of Gods unchanging hand. He picked himself up and tried again.
He has succeded as a DAd and a Husband and as a child of God. I can imagine his reward will be immense. He says his reward is here with me and you children and now his added children and grandchildren.
Ok off the subject again, I keep rambling, so I guess it was meant to be.
Have a great day everyone, Find God in a few moments of prayer today.
Now to add to my thoughs the radio is now playing 'If I saw you in Heaven". Whew now that is a song to make you cry, I sang it to my Mom the last week I sat with her.
Guess I am having a sad day, rain can do that to you.

Well this is difficult, since I do not keep my feelings to myself so I cant say I am quiet and demure.
1. I stay in touch with as many people, as possible, from my past.
2. I broke my finger in Junior High, Left Middle, had to wear a splint with that finger sticking out for a month,
3. I love love being outside and getting my hands dirty. (and everywhere else)
4. I am concerned about getting old and who will take care of me. (if necessary)
5. While working, one lady called the office crying, she had lost her gift certificates, valued at 50 dollars, they were for her children's Christmas. She was asking if Wards would replace them, I knew the answer and I explained to her, I also told her to call back the next day. I then took my bonus which was 50 dollars and was giving it to her. I told her to come in and the money would be replaced. She called me back and found the certificates. She also asked me if that money was coming from me, I told her it did not matter and she just knew it was. She sent me a beautiful letter thanking me for helping her and giving her back the true meaning of Christmas. I still have that letter.

Doctors Suck
I am so stressed right now, I need to vent. OK I had my blood test last week, I knew my meds were not to be refilled and I knew it was time for a complete physical. So I made the necessary appointments, after all the blood test. I figured get it all done at once and save money. When I called I told the receptionist I was due for a pap smear and I wanted Dr. Sheila. I specifically said I do not want JJ. So I thought all was fine. Hey I even called on Monday to confirm the time and place, I did my leg work.
Now on to the stressful part. I go in today on time, I sit 15 minutes, the receptionist then says, Sue can you come back later today, We need something else. First I said OK, then she said JJ is backed up and then I said OH NO, I see DR, Sheila, I am here for a pap smear and checkup. I was then informed she does not see new patients, like I am new, only been going there 11 years and she has seen me on several occasions, but not since the heart surgery. So then I said and "I will not see JJ, I do not like him, he is condescending, In addition I want a lady to do my pap smears."
Well it seems they did not have my blood test results, Or so they thought but after looking, they found them in a pile on the back shelf.. So now we are OK, you think. We scheduled for Friday, Sheila remembered me and it was OK.
I left with my new appt. I go to costco to pick up my medicine which I am totally out of, Blood pressure meds and meds to slow my heart rate. I get there and they have not been approved, (keep in mind I called them in a week ago). I ask the clerk to call the drs office and get a manual approval. Their response made my bp rise even higher. When the clerk called, the receptionist told her, "We already told her she cant have her meds until she has a blood test". Number 1 meds were not discussed and number 2 I had the d blood test. Now the clerk says if you can go back over there and speak to them personally, Well I did,
I walked in and said, "Which person here has the authority to deny a patient the medication they need?" She stammered well Angela, said, I said "well to me it seems if a person has a heart condition it is the drs responsibility to get the medication they need." I have had the blood test, what more do you need, Well it seems they did not get all the blood they needed, so back to the lab tomorrow. In addition, I know for a fact that TSH was on the drs orders. I even questioned the fact that it was there, I knew I needed it. The receptionist called the lab and the lab said it was not there, I said "well she is covering her ass. Anyway I am mad as h. Can you tell?

Laugh Often
Hey I have spent so much time today laughing. First I got all these jokes from friends. Usually I delete but today I had to read the mail, then I forwarded them to each of you. Do read them as my computer has already scanned twice for bugs.
Then I got Kens photo for the party. Now that was priceless. Ken, congratulations, you go guy, and keep having fun. Your Dad would have done the same thing and laughed at himself too.
I went to class although I did not feel like it but glad I did. Those ladies are such great friends. I spent most of the day being lazy and playing with my plate, I was supposed to be painting not playing, I then started a boot, with roses on the toe. One of the ladies gave me a kiln, she brought it over after class, so now I can fire my own small stuff. That will be great, she said it will be like a gift when you open the kiln and realize there is a gift that you created waiting for you.
Now to learn how to use it.
Now to add to my day, I just talked to my Older son on line. Charles you really don't realize just how much we love you. God, some days are so hard knowing it has been a year since we saw that big smile of yours. You were my first baby and you always will be. You stole my heart the first time I knew you were growing in my tummy. My 17 year old tummy. LOL So you may say we grew up together. Then came the little piece of sunshine we called Ken, He was so cute and had this amazing smile. He was an awful lot like Ceylum is now. Wandered around smiling and ignored you if he chose. Ceylum is quiet like Ken was. Your dad and I remarked on that, after we were there a few weekends ago. Brought back lots of memories.
Next came the princess. Yes I know you boys thought we treated her like one but look around you, Each child has special needs and you try to find that need and nourish it. Sheri had to be kept busy, she looked for her outlets, I can still picture her on the swing set, with her finger in her mouth, sound asleep. I would pick her up and take her to her bed, she was 3 or 4 years old, That old tetter totter always put her to sleep. Later that swing set became her jungle gym, she spent more time hanging upside down that rightside up.
So today I am just reminiscing.

Medicine
Have any of you ever taken Nician? Don't!!! Per the doctors orders, Last night I took a five hundred milligram tablet. The nurse told me that often people have side effects. burning and itching. She said to eat fiber before taking. I did eat the fiber. I did take the meds. I DID burn so much it made me nauseous. It actually felt like a million hot pins sticking in me from my head to my elbows. I started itching first, my hands usually itch, then I felt weird. More so than usual. Then I had to get to bed, Had to go. I was so miserable and my heart started pounding. I said Never agin will I take them, but with my triglycerides so high, it is a must do case, Well now I have taken another one. Lets see what is next. keep good thoughts. LOL Medicine what a drag.
I am sure each of you know how much I have always hated being sick. But as we all know I missed a lot of living due to stuff happening to me. But you all also know it barely slowed me down. I LOVE life and I LOVE your Dad I have hated the loss of time with him and him having to take care of me so often. He has never once complained. I Thank God every day for bringing him into my life.
I thank God every day for bringing each and every one of you into my life. I only have to reminise a few moments to bring a smile to my face, due to some joke you all have pulled on each other or even us. The old people. LOL. Keep playing Jokes on each other, Keep the glow in each others eyes, I am including the new daughters and new son in our life too. We love and pray for every one of you daily.

Ok I am in trouble
The Doctors office , (my cardiologist) called today, I knew something was wrong, can't seem to keep from gaining weight, like 5 lbs in 2 weeks, Hate it too. They warned me that Diabetis nearly always follow Heart Disease. My glucose is high, my triglycerides are high. like double what they should be, so now I have to buy more medicationss. But I am OK with the meds, just hate more expense. I am not OK with the weight gain, 5 on me is like 15 on someone else. I feel bloaty, so back to the old oatmeal only and little bread and no sweets. Now I can not make my gourmet meals as often. I was loving it. Maybe using too much olive oil.
Anyone got suggestions for dieting and keeping the good food on the table and no cholesterol.
I see my family doctor on Tuesday and she will probably offer suggestions.

Gourmet
Love cooking when I really get into it, Yesterday I made beef-bourgonine sp. We had a fantabulous dinner of this, my version, without all the extras.
Your Dad ate two bowls, I made it with stew meat and cooked it for several hours on low. Actually it should have gone in the oven for 4 or more hours but this turned out great. The Bread we used was a crusty French, sliced and toasted, drizzled with olive oil. Then while hot I rubbed it with fresh garlic, and a fresh tomato. That gave it the most unique flavor. Your Dad said it was like nothing he ever tasted. That was our dinner, beef bourgonine and crusty bread.
Enjoy. Oh yes the dessert was a fresh pumpkin pie. Fall treat.
Test
Today I need to have blood test, I am not sure I want to. I don't even know what lab to go to. Dr. Chandramouli gave me orders but I have had them at least a month. Guess I better go. But I have to go on an empty stomach, and you all know me I am a breakfast person. Anyway I will go, I guess. How do you like that decisiveness? Yesterday we had more curbing added. It is now on the outside of the drive and ariound the planter in the front, you know where I had the rocks, the kids helped me bring them up. I have loaded that planter with cannas, so as they spread it will require no care. None at all. Paul is giving me morning glory and they are going on the well shed. I will be so glad to get the out buildings painted the color of the house. That will make a tremendous difference. Your dad will use the old garage to park his truck in this winter, so when he leaves in the mornings it will not be froze over.
There is so much to do. First and foremost, we need to get the old garage windows caulked. That is where the leak came from. We still have not dug ditches to bury the pipe for the septic or the electric lines. That worries me, since the wiring is not underground wire, only wrapped in paper. It is a wonder someone has not been electrocuted. But you know me, I want it yesterday. I guess I will be working outside a lot in the rain to get this place in shape for winter. It is cloudy today and they are predicting rain. I am concerned the pool will rise up out of the ground, when the rains hit. We still need to finish that too,
It is like my crafts, I told your DAD, I have so much to do I am not sure where to start. I have 4 quilts to make for the little boys, I want to make 2 I saw in a quilt shop, My sunbonnet Sue is still not finished, My big heavy quilt needs a binding, I have my art classes, I want to work in the yards, I need to can some pears I got on Monday, I have raspberries to freeze, most important must come first. I have so much on my plate, I do not know what to take a bite out of first. HELP!!!!!

Tuesday
This is not such a good day, I do not have any thing that does not hurt, or ache. I woke up several times last night with goop in my eyes, so I think it is a cold. Sounds reasonable. Could be another wierd virus. LOL

Posting
Hey I hear a lot about, n"o one ever comments on my blog." Well some people I know never comment on my blog either, and some people never answer a question. So why is that? Maybe You don't read my blog. That is OK it is mostly rambling, jsut like today.
We have been busy raking rocks out of our new lawn, Well actually your dad rakes and I pick them up in a bucket and he empties the bucket. No it did not hurt the new grass. I am amazed at how sturdy it is and how fast it comes up. Now it looks like Lawn. I would put a photo on here but I still cant figure out the dumb tenique for it. I can put them on my computer and I can send them e-mail but somehow can not manage to get them here. Oh well you just have to read your mail. Kris showed me how but I need to do it with her standing over me, as I do it myself. then and only then can I manage it.
Winter is on the way, it is cloudy out today and they are predicting windy weather with rain in the forecast. I do see some sun peeking through but it seems to be short lived.

Jandy.Com
Hey guys if you want to see what the pool feature looks like go to Jandy.com and click on the link. I just went there and it is going to be so beautiful, but hey I only have 4 jets, I wonder if you all are here at once if we need 11? Na, that would be too pricey. LOL.
Anyway a thought. Not in real time though. I am lost in my thoughts today, need to get sewing and cleaning but my body does not want to move.
It will now, Amerigas is coming to trench for the gas line to the hot tub.

Running
Man do I hate doing all the running around town. Remember you dad used to do all of it. I never even went to the bank. They knew his face all over town, Now I guess it is my turn to handle all the banking, permits, bill paying etc. Today was not a total waste though, I got to the two banks and finally got the motor home registered. I made an appointment and it was easy/ Got my number, sat down with a room full of people and my number was immediately called. Yeah, Got a few stares too from the ones that were waiting and waiting.
Went to building dept, and they need more info on the spa. I will be calling you Ken. By the way Congratulations to Ken on his 13 ;b weight loss, If I could do that in 2 weeks I would be through, But mine would come off a pound a week. So I will do it tomorrow, Remind me then. Right.
Went to food outlet, got corned beef for dinner, Did you girls know that you can cook a couple of pieces of bacon with onion, Chop bacon and onion, brown, then add cabbage and slow cook, Cabbage has its own juice. When tender add canned corn beef, just break it up with your hands and heat thoroughly, Serve with warm cornbread. Good stuff, without all the time and expense of cooking your corn beef yourself.
Last home home home, I love home. Guess I am a stick in the mud , (as I have often been called) or stuck in a rut which is about the same. Now to rest a little before I start dinner. Have a great day kiddos.

Sunday ahhhh
Today we decided to relax. I spent most of yesterday in the kitchen and tomorrow my art class starts back up. We had a breakfast of Scones and bacon, Then off to see what is outside besides work. We went to the fabric store so I am ready to make the vests. We then went to the sundial bridge. Amazing. I had no idea it was so amazing. We then took a walk through the test gardens. More ideas for our yard came into our minds.
We then decided it was time to buy sensible walking shoes, since he had on his loafers and all his walkers were ruined by the dirt and mud here, I had on flip flops and my legs were hurting from the short walk. My walking shoes were equally in bad shape, since I use them to work in the yard too.
Then home to left overs from Saturday. They were still great. Finished off the apple dumplings and now we are exhausted. Time for bed even though it is only 7 30.
In addition I need each of you to say a prayer for my Brother, Harold. He is in the hospital with severly clogged arteries in his legs, He needs surgery badly, but his heart may not stand it. They will be checking out his heart tomorrow.
Roy, did go to the hospital to help out, He and Faye are there seeing that May has things she needs and family support.

Dinner
The dinner went great, Well at least everyone said it did. I made a fantastic salad with romaine the only additions were dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, garganzola cheese, and shredded fresh parmasean. I love novelty salads and for that matter all novelty food. Who would have thought of putting cranberries in a salad. The chicken stew was good but I am not much of a stew eater but I did nibble while cooking so I was not hungry at dinner, Homemade yeast rolls, YUMMY, turned out better than usual. Nancy wants me to teach her how to make them, she never has. And guess the veggie, You Got it! Squash.!!! Hey it was fixed gourmet style with parmesean and kosher salt.
Hungry Yet?
Last came the Apple dumpling with Hot Rum sauce. Oh yes, finish it off with a huge scoop of fresh Vanilla Ice cream. I told you I was learning to cook gourmet style. I am loving it. So is your Dad. Everyone asked him if he got to eat that way all time. The answer is a definite NO. Not that it is expensive, mostly stuff you would have on hand anyway, just how you put it together makes the difference.
Had a great day, Hey when you all come home next summer you will be well fed, It will be so much fun. I have even branched out with Hamburgers, I now all lots of filler to them. Again your dad loves them.
Bye Guys. Hope to see you all soon.

TGIF
Finally here, I get a whole day with your dad, well we will be busy but that is OK at least we are together. We team work.
Tomorrow I am having company for dinner, Nancy, Paul, Bill Gregory his wife Maudie, They have helped us a lot with out place, and Bill seldom will take any money. We told him we would have them for dinner. So now is my chance to repay them.
I am making Chicken Stew with parsley biscuits, Zucchini with Parmesan, and summer pudding. Oh yes a green salad too. The chicken stew looks great, I bake the chicken first. The Summer pudding is made with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and egg bread, (biroche). That goes into the fridge and is turned out onto a plate and served with rum whipping cream.
Anyway that is my weekend, How about yours?
Oh yes, I also have to get a pattern for G a weighted vest. I finally found just the right fabric to got with my scraps. I will send photos when it is finished. He needs this vest as it is a calming thing for him.

Nancy
Hey guys Nancy contacted me yesterday, She is going to have another granddaughter. That just cant be possible, she was only a little girl when David and I got married. She would often go on rides with us, She was only like 5 years old. She loved her uncle David so much, Mama used to tell us, before I knew there was an us, That David was making that girl rotten, He would come home on leave and buy her anything she wanted, buy her whole bags of chips and just hand it to her, She never had to share. That really frustrated my Mom. As children We never got a whole anything. LOL
Now I can't be that old, for her to have grandchildren. Man how fast life goes by. Sometimes I think, "Am I almost 60"? That is not possible, my body feels it, my mind doesn't, that is except for my senior moments.
Grab on to every moment you can, if you think you made a mistake when younger, fix it. It is not too late.
One mistake I made, I think of often, I would go back to my high school years and finish school in my sheridan. I loved Sheridan High. I had gone to school with my friends for 11 years. But you can never go back, only forward so move forward. Your dad knows how I feel about that time in my life. He understands.
I missed out on so much by getting married between 11 and 12 grade. My senior prom, my graduation, My uncle said he would send me to UALR, but I guess I did not believe him. Would I have married your Dad again, IN a heartbeat. But I would have done it differently. I knew so little them, but hindsight is always better than foresight. I did not know he could get GI bill to go to school until we were married for 4 years, I did not know he could get a Vet loan to buy a house. We could have been set up pretty good for newly weds. But now I am too old to do all the things I could have done. NOne of you are too old, IF you want to go to school,GO!! If you want to teach by all means get out there nad get those credentials. When you are almost 60 you will have no regrets. Well actually you will, There are always things we could have done better or differently, Think! Each choice you make affects your entire life, good or bad. It is what you do with your choices that make you, or break you.
I did make a good choice when I met your Dad, He is without a doubt the best man in the universe. With the exception of my Sons and my Son in law. So you all are in that caregory together.
Anyway Make good choices, think about what you want to do and DO IT. It is not too late for you.

Monday
Busy Morning, I have just sat down to rest a few before taking a shower and start the ironing. Yes I love to iron, It is kind of peaceful to me, I love to smell the sweet smell of clean clothes and starch. Did you all know i used to iron for Vi Yarbrough. Yes I did, in the late 60s and early 70s. I got so much for each shirt I ironed. I also kept house for Grandma Yarbrough and did her ironing as well. It was a thing I could do and earn a little extra money. The state paid me for doing Grandmas.
The house is finally clean again. The little men played in the sand piles, and brought as much in the house as their littel feet and hands could handle. NO I did not mind. I loved having them here. They loved the sand piles and loam pile. Interestingly enough they stayed away from the pool, Well only a couple of times did their dad have to tell them to stay away. They were more interested in helping or playing in the sand.
Evan is such an intelligent child. He amazes me the way he has to figure out how everything works, He checked out the sprinlker for the garden, drug it up to the house and figured out how the legs opened up to balance the sprinkler. Next on to the soap dispenser in the kitchen, He had to crawl under the cabinet for that one. Every thing he sees he tries to figure out, must be going to be real technical. But he said he wanted to be a garbage man when he grows up. LOL Charles wanted to do that too.
Jarod and Ceylum just went around smiling and playing. Kiara tried ot show us how she can crawl backwards, did pretty good too.
Clay and Marie came over to see the kids, As soon as she walked into the house she said "that middle one has such beautiful eyes, The brightest blue I have ever seen." I showed her the photo of my Grandpa Brown, his eyes were very very light blue too. Maybe lighter than Jarods, if that is possible, but we are petty sure that is where it came from. Just dont understand why it skipped 2 generations. But my Uncle Cecil had very light blue eyes too. He is my DAds brother.
Well I may have bored you all enough with my chatter, so I will go get busy. Love to all.

Whats on?
What's on Right now?
1. What's on your computer desk?
remote for wireless mouse, printer splitter, notepad.
2. What does your computer desktop background look like?
Changes every time I get a new photo from the kids, Today it is Evan, from his kwon-do pose.
3. What's on your agenda for the upcoming week?
Today, getting my house in top shape. Tomorrow, get my new hot tub, Wednesday on who knows, probably be my total rest days.

Weekend
This has been a very busy weekend. It began with rising at 4 am Saturday, I made
cinnamon rolls for the Old car club, I have not heard but I hope they went over great.
Then Ken and Kris showed up to work on the pool. Ken gave us an amazing water feature for the pool, The jets are set into the cement and water shoots up out of the cement and into the pool. It is going to be an amazing pool with all the water features involved. In additon it has fiber optic lights in the pool beneath the two waterfalls. The Pool has water up to the first step, next week someone is coming to finish it off. Ken said 2 days work nad it is up for inspection. I am so excited about getting into the hot tub, It is due to arrive on Tuesday. That is one thing I look forward to this winter, especially since swin season is over.
Next Kris got the books downloaded from the old computer to the new one. That has been a task within itself for the last two weeks, she did it in about 15 minutes. Where has she been when I needed her?
Then we played a new card game until approx. 11 pm. I was wiped out but still able to crawl to bed. I do not think I moved all night, until 7 this morning Anyway about the game, The game is called hand and foot. It is a Fun game with lots of points possible. next time we play we will not have so much before hand to do.
