Thanksgiving

Was a great day, We got up early and drove to Kens and got there around 10 am. Then Dad promptly fell asleep. The turkey and trimmings were great, Kris did a very good job. Kris I would say you are ready to entertain guest and cook a great meal for them.
Ken has 2 great trees in their back yard. Be sure to check your mail and look at the photos of the kids in the leaves. They had a ball. Nothing quite like rolling in fall leaves.
We spent the night then Ken and Kris, got up and went shopping at 430 am. Wow I would never do that. they stood in line and I am sure she has those stories to tell you. Hey they got some bargains though.
Then we had to get to town, we had to pick up medicine and 4 registered letters that had been waiting since the 22. We could not seem to make connections with the postlady. That day we again had just missed her. So in order to get the mail we chased her down, well we chased down 3 of them she was the last, (of course). Hey did you know they have at least 3 mail carriers in this area. One we chased up dersh road to about 2 miles. LOL
We got our mail and it was nothing special. Darn all that worry for nothing. Just from the IRS.
That is why we were in a hurry, did not want to be audited, we know we would pass, your dad never never would do anything the least bit questionable. But when you have registered letters from them you want them in your hands and want to know why.
So we are OK, no audit. Just buisness information they need. We got it and we are done. Whew. Makes your heart race.
I have been so overwhelmed the last few days, I cant seem to get my tree up and the house diecorated. I really dont want to do it, since M is not here to offer her decorating help. I guess that is why I am having such a hard time. Today I finally got the tree in the stand and positioned. I think? Not sure if that is the way I will leave it or not. LOL
Tomorrow I go to class again and then I will do my shopping, As you all know i dont like going to town, so I run it all into one pass if possible.
We Hope you all had a great thanksgiving. We did and for Christmas we are having prime rib. Hey Charles why dont you all come here for a few days. it will be great.
