Oh little Rose tree bloom!
Summer is nearly over.
The dahlias bleed, and the phlox is seed.
Nothings left of the clover
And the path of the poppy no one knows.
I would blossom if I were a Rose.
Edna St.Vincent Millay
Today is Ruby Tuesday. I saw this at Renie Burnhardts World. I think it is a great idea.
Red being one of my favorite colors. This should be easy.
Fall is upon us and I can barely wait for the Reds, Golds and Rust colors to appear.
That is a sign of new life right around the corner.
Plants have to rest and store up nutrients for the colder days and nights ahead, only to begin new life with beautiful flowers and greenery.
I took the above photo early on Tuesday. My roses are in bad need of tending. They look like an overgrown forest. I can barely get between each bush.
I have spent little time with them this year, but they bloom on. I smile when I think of how they hold on to life, even without my guiding hand to prune away all the bad wood. They bloom as I want to bloom.
Through it All.
Love you all
Sue
Enjoy the beauty around you and continue to bloom.

Hi Sue,
Love your beautiful rose, and the Edna St. Vincent Millay poem. She is one of my favorite poets. Nice Ruby Tuesday post.
Just got home here. We went to eat Chinese Buffet today. Yum!
My roses need tending as well, as in pruning. They are too tall and gangly now. I will prune early next spring.
Hope you're having a great day, my friend.
Hugs,
Renie
