Happy Anniversary

Sunday, June 28Th we celebrated our 46Th anniversary. Wow that is a long time to look at one person, daily. But He made it. Not sure how he withstood me all these years but I am so glad he did.
life has not been a bed of roses, but we tried as hard as we could to make it better each day.
We made a lot of mistakes, raising our children, financial issues,investing properly, you name it we made mistakes.
However we learned, (or did we). We still have champagne appetites on Beer or water budget. We still love the nicer things, not fancy but we want a level of comfort that only Money can buy.
However, and this is big. We still Adore each other.
We had the same goals when we met, if we didn't we adjusted to the others needs and desires.


So what did we do? Well we went to our favorite hang out. Mount Lassen. We walked by the lake, We climbed the logs, We watched deer come within 25 feet of us, we talked to Rangers, We then took out blanket to the lake side and napped.
The day was as perfect as you can imagine. A nice breeze all day.
Everyone asked us if we left the Redding heat. not hot when we left but we heard it was over 110. They were correct. We drove into town about 6 PM and our car thermometer registered 111. Wow that is HOT.
We then ate dinner at Marie calenders, (Big Mistake) David was up with diarrhea and
I was up vomiting, same times too.
When we got home, I felt awful, my eyes hurt so bad I could barely
keep them open,, Not sure what that was. We went to bed by 9 PM and slept fitfully.
When we left I turned off the house central cooling, the house was a cool 77.
When we returned it was a cool 84. Not bad for 111 outside.
Thank God we had the foresight to add extra insulation To our house.
Saves a lot of money.

As far as house work goes I may just sit this one out. I am still so tired. Must be a day of lazy set my body in motion to do NOTHING.
