He's Home

David arrived home early today. At 830. I really thought he may sleep in then come in later.
That was OK though. I heard him yell, "Honey" I said, "Yes, I hear you"
He opened the door I said, 'I am soooooooooo hungry"
He went back to town to pick up McDonald's. My Grandson thinks that is funny. Me saying I wanted something good like McDonald's. (we all know I am not a fast food person, all but breakfast at McDonald's.) I love the Sausage Biscuit with egg, hash browns and their coffee.
I inhaled it. Not sure I should have but hey we all cheat on something. I am good now, Still hungry but I think I can make it till morning then I may want a repeat.

Right now he is cooking potatoes, I am cooking peas and making cornbread, (my hands will touch nothing) He will broil a steak. That is dinner.
I figure that is safe, from what I read it is. Another story If I have my hands in things like kneading bread. So that I will not do.
It has been 78 hours and most of the radiation leaves your body in 72 hours then it slowly leaves, It takes about 2 months before you are not radioactive.
Not bad, probably not much more than an X-Ray after the next 72 hours.
That is when we can share a room again. On Tuesday night, he can share my bed. If he is really good.

I have tried to read but I am having a hard time focusing. My eyes feel out of focus.
I would be interested to know if my arteries cleared out at all.
Do you think?
I would think if you hit something that is clogged with gamma rays, it would dissolve the fat and clogs.
Just a thought but one I am sure to ask.
I feel pretty good right now, Maybe it was the food. But I will go back on my no iodine foods for a few more days. I want to be sure the radiation gets what it is supposed to eat up.
Could be that I started my thyroid pills today. That could help, maybe not but I can hope.

So just checking in,
Bye
