That is what I kept telling myself this morning, I did not want to walk.
But when you must get somewhere, no magic tail wind is going to push you along.
I sure wanted one, A fast one.
I thought, "How can I make it to the car? I will Make it to the car.
I had to buy more jammies, I will be showering three times a day for a while and washing my hair.
As I entered Kohls, I stopped and rested on a rack and chided myself for being so childish.
You know, "NO I AINT GONNA GO".
Finally to the back of the store I go and find NO clearance jammies. DARN IT!!!!
Back to the car, (OH why Me?)
I drive to Penny's then that song hits me,
I sigh, my brain says "pick up your feet!!!" I did and slowly I made it in and found my jammies. ON CLEARANCE.
I sighed my way through paying and trudged to the car. NOW to just get home.
OH why do I live so far away.
I just ate my blah pancake and coffee. NOW I am off to bed.
Please enjoy the song.
It is from the OLD OLD cartoon,
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer as sung by
Beryl Ives.
(you probably dont even know who I am talking about)
One Foot in Front of the Other
(Chorus In Blue)
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door
You never will get where you’re going
If you never get up on your feet
Come on, there’s a good tail wind blowing
A fast walking man is hard to beat
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door
If you want to change your direction
If your time of life is at hand
Well don’t be the rule!!!! be the exception!!!!
A good way to start, is to stand
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door
This part to me.
If I want to change the reflection
I see in the mirror each morn
I mean that it's just my election
To vote for a chance to be reborn
Chorus again
