Dull Monday

It has been a nice weekend. The sun was out for a change. However today, it is cloudy again.
OH well, We can still use rain. But I cant get my garden in until it is dry enough to break up the ground.
With this loam, you would sink in, I know I have sunk in before. Lost a few shoes in the wet muck,
David and I did get a little work done on Saturday, then we had company on Sunday. We did make a trip to Wal-Mart for gopher killer and odds and ends. No food though, We just do not know what we want to eat.
I have to call my doctor for medication. I am out of my Janeuvia. It has been the best thing I take for my sugar levels. I think it works too good. OK Doctor called. My medication is waiting on me at the front desk.
It is a good thing they give me medication, The non generic. Last year my out of pocket was almost 1200. Whew!!! Thank God for Doctors that will donate to my life. LOL

OK so what is new here? Not a thing. My mind is a blank.
Oh, Ron and Darlene came to visit yesterday, It was, as usual, a great visit. We sat on the porch until about 7 PM and talked of our ailments, Our children, our grandchildren and Their Great Grandchild.
We have been friends for so many years. They are as much a part of our lives as breathing is.
We have been together for births of our children, weddings, funerals and baby showers.
Plus , more importantly, we have worshiped together.
What a blessing to have friends that dedicated.
I guess our children had a busy weekend, we did not hear from anyone. AT ALL.
Maybe they got some quality family time. That is always important.
So I know they are good or they would have called.
Today it is so cloudy, did I say that? Oh well it makes me want to sleep. I think I will again indulge myself and go back to bed. I am droopy anyway. My body does not want to sit straight. Just slump over. LOL
