Wal-Mart Ad

We made a trip to YC to see our son and the family, (Wife and 6 children) Yes, I did say 6. They are all beautiful Loving children. Hugs all around and lots of them.
Even little K who is 6 mos old, smiled a lot. When I first took him from his Mommy, He hid his face from me, He hid it against my shoulder or completely turned away. But he did not cry, Eventually he was all smiles and giggling. He is a chunk.
An Adorable chunk. A very happy baby.
He smiles like his bigger brother Cay. A big wide open mouth smile.

E the oldest is growing up too fast. He is almost as tall as me, and has these amazing bright blue eyes and almost black hair. The Italian heritage in him shows quite a bit.
He almost needs a shave but NOT YET. Let him have the shadow, it is only a shadow right now, Wait until it is actually growing longer hair.
He will probably have a full mustache in 9th grade. But not now.

L was as sweet as usual, Such a little princess. She has a voice but uses it only when necessary, she does not talk a lot, but someday, LOOK OUT.
I made dresses for both girls and handbags to match. They thought they were princess's. This was for their birthdays. I had not taken care of L's birthday or K. February was L's birthday and April was K's. we took care of three birthdays yesterday. This included Jarod who will have one in a few days.
Which brings me to the comment he made to us as we prepared to leave. Mamaw, I really love spending time with you. AHHHHHHH so sweet. He is sweet, the look of an Angel.
Does it sound like I am predjudice? I guess I could be, Just a smidge.
Whoops got to mention them all, Cay was his usual rationalizing self. He said, "You have brothers, who are they?" I told him Edward, Leonard, Harold and Roy, But Leonard had died.
He asked why and I told him, Bad Heart. He goes OH>
So Uncle Edward I can call Uncle Ed, Uncle Leonard I could call him Uncle Leo. We agreed but he just could not break down Harold or Roy.
They uncle Coy came up, He said, "I have Uncle Coy and Aunt Lou Ellen," I said, Yes you do.
He said I had an Uncle Charles who fell in the river. I had to think a minute. I said, "NO you had a cousin named Charlie who drowned in the Sacramento River".
I explained that concept and he was fine to go play. He just had to get all the names right.

Thank Goodness.

Now to the post subject. Kris ran in and put her scrubs on for us. We were discussing some fun tops, as she is allowed to wear fun tops on Sundays.
I said. "Walmart has scrubs, you may check there."
(All the children were eating "Red Velvet Birthday Cake". YUMMY)
K, 5 years old was sitting by me eating her cake. She never looked up or missed a bite.
She said, "Walmart, Save Money, Live better".
Kris and I began laughing, Kris had to hide her face she was laughing so hard. (A kairos moment)
I said, "Say that Again". No one else heard it as they were talking men talk.
Just as sweetly as the first time while stabbing a chunk of cake. "WalMart, Save Money, Live Better."
So Walmart are you listening, A five year old has heard and memorized your ads.
OH yeah she is perfect for a commercial too, Long blond hair, big blue eyes and a smile that melts your heart.
That was our Saturday, we had a Kairos Day.

And we think they do not pay attention. It is amazing what they learn when we think they are not listening...
