Psalm and Proverb

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship. --Psalm 19:1, NLT
And what a beautiful day it is. The sun is shining, the sky is a beautiful blue.
So much to Thank God for, I must stop and give him my thanks.
Today is Make a Difference Monday. What has happened to you to make a difference or what difference have you made?
I just heard on K-Love a young man was putting gas in his car, I think he said he only had three dollars to spend.
Another customer saw him, walked over and scanned his card and told the young Man to "Fill it up."
He thanked him and added "I also want to Thank God for this blessing."
Wouldn't it be great to bless someone like that? Maybe we do not have the money for gas but we do have a minute to bless someone. Like offering a hand with unloading a cart, anything.
Yesterday we bought 400 lbs of pool salt for our pool. That meant David loaded the cart, Checked out, (the clerk scanned from the basket) loaded the car, then home to unload the car, only to pick up the bags again to empty them into the pool.
That was a lot of lifting, I figure a total of 1600 lbs lifted in a matter of about an hour.
Last night his arm was hurting bad enough that he asked for an aspirin. David does not take med until the pain is bad.
As I saw him suffering, I thought of a young man, sitting in his car, watching this white haired older man struggling to get the bags into the car.
I wondered "Why are you not offering to help?"
I would have if there was something I could do. I did try to lift a bag out of the Car but I just could not do it. It was only 40 lbs but that was heavy for me, (Weakling).
Yes, I did try to help and I did load one bag into the cart, only to decide that was enough lifting.
I did pull the bags off the shelf and stand them up for him to load. That much I could do.
He ordered me away from the bags.
If I see a person in need, God do not let me pass up an opportunity to show your love.
Other stuff.
I just walked out to the pool and ate my lunch. A peanut butter sandwich. Sounds good Huh? Not so much.
I have to eat better, yesterday was not a good day for me Health wise.
I was so sick, I had to sit a lot.
My sugar levels kept dropping and I could not seem to get it to raise, even with Orange Juice and Cashews.
I would stumble around and David has noticed I have began stumbling. I suddenly can not stand straight and sort of tip over. LOL I do this often.
It is weird, but I have not fallen, I don't think I will, I think it is just something with my sugar levels.
I am poor at my diet. I work hard then I do not eat and then when I do stop to eat, it is too late as I am about to drop. David had to finish dinner yesterday and bring me a plate.
I thought that sounded like a good excuse to be waited on.
So think of today, the beautiful World created for us, How we can bless someone, (it can be your family, even just a phone call, a batch of cookies, or a Warm greeting.)
Me, I am going to make Strawberry Jam for David. I did not make S berry Jam last summer. Now he is wishing for some Homemade Jam.
That can be my blessing to him. Simple Huh?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
