Here it is almost July, or as David says, Julie.
The month has been pretty uneventful. Tomorrow I get my messy hair permed. Then I won't feel so neglected.
I am thinking of having Ron and Darlene over for dinner tonight. Of course that means I must go to town first to pick up some yams.
We baked a ham yesterday and It was so good. YUMMY. First one we baked in ages.
Of course a ham for two people can last for weeks.
I can make yeast rolls, yams, salad and the ham. Sounds like a plan to me.
If only I get off my Heine.
I know someone prayed. Not sure who, but my glands got really bad this weekend.
It happened to be the glands on my left side where they found the lymph node cancer. Below and beside my ear.
I thought for a while, MUMPS. LOL I had those, I guess, Too far back to recall.
On Saturday it hurt to eat my breakfast, I slept most of the day. On Sunday I was better. Today it is still sore but it does not warrant a doctor. The pain is much less and I am awake, feeling a little more energetic. However I am still sleeping at least two hours a day. I turn off all the phones and just crash in the extra bedroom.
Thanks for the prayers everyone, and I know Jeanette was praying. I just know. I never asked anyone to, other than David, but somehow I just knew she was.
David saw how miserable I WAS. Again I am much better. Thank you God.
Jeanette and I are in tune with thoughts and each others needs.
We discovered, This weekend, we both discussed the same things with our spouses.
Staples, Yes, Staples in the house, Flour, Baking powder, corn meal, shortening, salt, beans and eggs. And oh Yes, Peanut Butter. We ALWAYS had Peanut butter and syrup on the table. ALWAYS it never got put away, even for evening meals, it was there to eat with hot biscuits.
If you have those you can have a meal. It takes work but it can be done.
With those items no one will ever go hungry.
We often find we have talked about the same things at the same time. Weird.
But even more weird, When Roy, my baby brother has a problem with his heart, I will have the same problem. Same times, same pain, same area of problems. My cardiologist asked if we were twins, I said, NO but close in age. He is almost 23 months younger. The difference is, It took years longer for my heart to go bad. But he had a more stressful life, Truck Driver on Long Haul.
I have no stints, he has 13. WOW that is a Lot of Stints. But he is still with us and I Thank God every day for that.
