Lessons Learned

Yesterday was another hectic day. We learned a very valuable lesson, We want to pass it on.

Do NOT EAT Subway breakfast.

We tried it, When they brought out the egg, I am not kidding, It was flat as a crepe, it was about the size of a taco shell, and I asked, 'What is that?" She told me,
"The Egg" YUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We should have walked then. But noooooo we waited ,and watched,
they put deli, (wet) ham on the bread, then topped with a small amount of grated cheese. The egg came out of the warmer and the sandwich was placed in a small oven and warmed.
I have never had such a horrible breakfast,
but we were out of cereal and we had errands to run.
You know I do not get out unless it is a have to case.
David needed shoes badly, His stunk, WHEW.
Had to Case.
So back to the sandwich, I took a bite, said, I need more pepper, I can't taste it,. I added a full packet of pepper, I took two or so bites, folded it up and threw it away.
Did I say it was HORRIBLE?
To add to no breakfast there, they only had regular coffee, swerved in a pump pot. OK that is not fresh, I declined coffee.

We finally make it to the shoe store and bought David a pair of Dr, Schols, While buying me a pair of summer naturalizers thongs. (shoes and no comment)
Cute clearance shoes.
By then I was already tired but we HAD to get to Walmart and shop a little. I had a coupon for $5 off and I was going to use it.
Plus the New Redding Super store was open and IT IS HUGE.
We bought our listed items, which included pool shock, (We can not seem to get it clear.)
Grocery dept where you know who had to check out every Sweet Aisle in the store, Candy, Bakery, Boxed sweets. I am not sure what he decided on, I never look as I seldom eat them.
I kind of smiled as I saw the grin on his face as he said, "Just a minute" and headed to the first Candy Aisle." He is so cute when he does that.
Oh the coupon???, I knew I would forget it! I did!! It is still in my wallet.
And I am not going back today or tomorrow but Maybe on Thursday.

Lesson 2....
Now to tell you, Do NOT buy the SHOE DINI!!! I spent 10 on one and it is already broken. David has such a hard time putting his shoes on we thought this would take care of the problem, it did, (for about a week). It broke. I found the pieces on the dryer. Now I think I will return it.
My question of the week
Why do you have to spend money to learn a lesson?
Do you realize we spent $20 on junk for a subway and a shoe dini?
Everything should be sampled or tried. Not that I Cant get a refund on the shoe dini, (I think I can) but I have to drive my car and use gas (more money wasted) and possibly get it dirty. (I just washed it)
