We just spent a sweet weekend with our son and his family. It was a blessing.
Especially when I woke around midnight and heard Kiara saying, "Bubba you are kicking me,"
Then again and again.
Finally I got up, and took her to my bed, She curled against her Papaws back and slept sound. Really sound, until late morning. We were all up and had breakfast before her big smile came around the corner.
She came to me and said, "Thank you for letting me sleep in your bed."
Really it was no problem, she is so tiny, you barely know she is there and she is not a bed hog.
Of course Ken checked on her several times, in the night, to be sure she was OK.
He thougth it was so cute seeing her against her papaws back.
(Like I did not know how to take care of children.) I too was aware of their movements.
We put the air bed in our room, thinking K and K could get a good nights sleep. But worry took over Kens rest.
The children, Well they all slept like logs. They had a fun day swimming and eating and they were worn down.

Today I am still recouping. I wish I did not get so tired doing things I love. But I do not slow down much when the babies are here, I just want them to cherish every moment with us.

Caylum (7) learned he could jump in the pool and do cannonballs. (more like BB's)
Evan finally got swimming down. He needs work but hey he is doing better than I did at 12, or 20. I too, was afraid of getting my face wet.
It will come with time. He is a loving young man. Papaw said he walked up behind Evan and put his arms around him, Evan turned and hugged back, really hard. (now Evan is not usually like that, he loves us a lot but he is shy) Papaw said, "You know I love you very much don't you," Evan responded with a squeeze and a "Yes I do."
That is all we want , for the kids to KNOW we love and adore them and have wonderful memories with Mamaw and Papaw.
I took the girls shopping, Leila wanted everything, she was even pulling ladies panties into the basket. She made me think of the sea gulls on "Finding Nemo".
"Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine."
LOL
I Love clearance shopping, two dollars for little girl shorts and tops, with an extra 15 % off.
Gotta love bargains.
Leila usually gets hand me downs, which are wonderful, but I wanted her to have her own choices. She too is tiny, tiny and we have to shop the infant department mostly. Some toddler but mostly infant.
They are so well behaved it is a pleasure to take them places.
Jarod was the usual sweetie with the evil side. He makes me think of that new ad, where the kid is trashing cars, while Elvis, sings, "You look like an Angel, You talk like an angel, you walk like an angel, but I got wise, You're the devil in discuise." Not really he is so sweet and innocent but he can let you know what he wants and NOW. (always with a big smile and bright blue eyes, beaming at you). You cant resist.

OH I almost forgot Kian, he is still leery of us, so were the girls until they were about 1 or so. Now they are our constant shadow when they are with us. Kian will do that too.
Just wait. I can, my lap is not big enough for him just yet, especially when I have Kiara, Leila and Caylum or Jarod on me. I cant sit without my lap filling up.

Ken stuck to his diet and weighed and measured everything that he ate. Good job Ken.
Kris well she liked the Red Velvet cake. That is all I am saying about that. LOL
Now I must get busy and clean floors, I have an appointment today and tomorrow then on Thursday, I get to get the Heck out Of Dodge.
I need it. Really Really need it.
Love to all.
