Kids or Geese??? Park or Drive????

My Brother in Law and Sister were here visiting a few weeks ago.
(Right now it seems a lifetime ago.)
As you may have read in previous post, we are blessed with the Sundial Bridge.
A place families can go for evening strolls or biking or just to enjoy the beauty of Redding.
A bridge that was lite with pink lights just last week, in honor of Women fighting Breast Cancer.

So we are at the bridge, on the South side.
To get to the North we have to cross the bridge.
We live on the South side of the bridge. (about 10 miles away).
As we walk up, We can see the Geese are flying and they are beautiful.
MY sis and I sit on a bench, Coy joins us.
We begin our walk, as we get to the rivers edge, Coy says,

"Look at those kids down there on Inner Tubes."
Why would anyone be in that cold water , that is not safe."
Lou tells him, " No Those are geese in the cove." He argues,
She tells him again, 'Those are geese." He knows what he sees.
"I know what I see and those are kids in that cove on inner tubes."

We drop the subject and walk across the bridge.
(All the time Lou adn I are laughing)

You know me I don't let things drop, I say,
"Hey lets walk down to the water and see those kids."
LOL LOL ROF PIMP.
As we approach the river we all begin to snicker.
David gets in on it too. He nudges me to stop laughing but I can't,
It is Geese.
We as in ME gives Coy a bad time and keeps the teasing up.
We tease him that the geese were on inner tubes.
We then let up the teasing and I really did forget it.

Then two weeks later, we are in Arkansas at their house. Nancy is cleaning the table and I say, "I thought I heard dogs yelping."
Nan tells me it was her wiping the table and it was squeaking.
Coy says, "Kind of like the Geese on Inner Tubes.
My response.
"Thank you, Thank you Coy, I almost forgot, Thanks for reminding me."
He laughed and said, "Well you would think of it eventually."
We again had a laugh.
Hey we have to laugh at our misconceptions, or errors, They sure aren't going away.
Lest we forget how to laugh.
Love you Coy, You know that, You are a perfect Brother IN Law.
Trying to grow up to be just like your Big Brother. (My husband)

Oh the perfect BI.
Well when we arrived home from our trip, I decided to start the Motor home and move it.
Nope!!!! not going to start. I try and try, I then hook the battery charger up and charge it for a full day.
Still David comes home and nothing. We just do not understand. We just spent about 500 having it repaired.
We know it worked when we left, Coy and I washed it. We got it looking spiffy.
I was on top of the Motor Home while he moved it. Yes I was. It was fun riding and holding on.
Hey I may be 64 but I am not dead yet.
Anyway we finished cleaning and that was it. We locked it up.
So why does it not start, Not even click.

Last night about 2 this morning, I woke up.
I thought, "I wonder if Coy put it in Park when he parked it."
When David came home today I told him of my thoughts. He said, "You can not take the key out unless it is in Park."
I told him it was old so maybe in the 70s you could.
He says he will check it out after dinner.
He goes out and comes back in smiling.

Yep it was NOT in Park, It started right up.
Thank you God.
Thank you Coy for helping wash it.

Oh me and my Brains, sometime I wonder why I was not this smart in the 60's.
LOL Kidding.
