MADD

K _Love has Make A Difference Monday, I like Make A Difference Day.

When you see someone in need, What do you do? Stop? Help? Walk on By?
Monetary is not the only way to assist people in need.
You can be an angel in disguise when going about your daily tasks.
Someone can be blessed.

As we walked into Wal-Mart, we saw her. An elderly lady obviously having difficulty unloading her basket.
I stopped and said, "Mam Do you need help?"
She responded with a smile and "Yes I do, God Bless you."

David and I stopped and loaded her groceries for her. As I put the first bag in , I noticed a walker.
I asked, "Will it be a problem for us to cover the walker?"
She said, "No, that thing is too heavy to lift anyway."
She thanked us profusely and we walked on, feeling joy at being a help to someone in need..

A few days later I walked into McDonald's Restroom.
An elderly lady stood there. She began, "This is the first day without my walker or cane"
I said, that was wonderful, and she began to give Jesus all the glory.

As I looked down I saw her boots were untied. She proceeded into the restroom.
I went in the other one thinking of her boots and the laces that could trip her.
I could not unzip my pants. I struggled and struggled, finally I walked out and told David, Lets go I can't unzip my pants. I laughed.
Suddenly I reached down and they unzipped as easy as could be. I was in the parking lot by now.
I scurried back to the bathroom, hoping the lady was still there.
She was!!!
We completed our jobs at the same time and washed up.
I walked her out of the restroom.
Suddenly I stopped her, I said, "May I tie your boots, they are unlaced?"
She of course said, "Yes" so there in front of all the patrons I am at her feet tying her shoes.
Shoes of a stranger.
A stranger to me but one who had blessed my morning.
I thought of the woman who knelt at the masters feet and washed them with tears and dried them with her hair.
What a beautiful picture.

You may bless someone else but let me tell you, the blessings come back Ten Fold.
Joy in the heart is good enough for me.
So what can you do to make a difference in someones life today? Let me know.
