Just Thinking

On Friday I was listening to K_Love and the conversation was.

SNUGGIES!!!?????

WHY????????

OK I have to admit they (snuggies) never appealed to me.
I,by nature,am too HOT most of the time.
I mean weather wise, (not the other).
I do not want to sit around bundled in something that restricts my movement.

So as the conversation went on, I had a sudden memory.

Over 30 years ago, there was an item on the market, I thought it looked GREAT for my Mom.

It was a foot warmer.
She could plug it in, (set her feet in this warmer)set and quilt or watch television or read or work puzzles. You get the idea.

So I bought it for my Mom. I proudly sent it to her, thinking of the warm toasty feet she would have.
No more getting up and down to push the fire on and off.
(Oh yeah she did not have a heater with a fancy thermostat. It was either on or off. No blower either)

But this foot warmer was shaped like a Boot.
I said, A as in ONE BOOT.
Both feet were wrapped in luxury, and warmth, together.

Problem, My Mom forgot that it was one shoe.
She stood to go into the kitchen and,

Well the rest is History.
Almost the end of mine.

Mama if you are seeing me right now I am so sorry, but I am still laughing at the spectacle it must have been.
