You may think most of my post are just rambling.
And you would be right.
I sit here all day with no one to talk to. David comes home, I want to talk but he cant hear so I am in silence.
I do not like silence or at least so much of it.
But it keeps me moving, I guess.
Today the sun was finally out so I got busy.
I drove into town to mail packages.
I fixed the tractor.
It had been sitting by the garage door since before Thanksgiving.
When I used it last, the blades would not turn, (not sure why).
All the belts are on and tight, Everything looks fine so I fumbled with wires and sure enough we have some bad wires.
Then I could not start it, so it Sat and Sat. Rained on, flat tire and all. It just sat.
When I fumbled with the wires I pulled one loose. That wire had worn into.
Today I found that wire and the other end of it, I twisted them together,
And
Voila
the Tractor started. YEA!!!!!
I then aired the tire up and moved it under the shed.
Next on Agenda.
I brought all my Christmas things to the house.
Wow I have a lot of red and green crates.
I will not put all of it out.
Tree for sure. Nativity probably.
Right now I am wiped out.
I also cut the grape vines off the pool fence and took loads of leaves out of the pool.
I was soaked to the skin when I finally came inside.
David will have to do some when he gets home.
I try to alleviate that part of his job, standing on that cement starts him limping (could have said, Makes him limp, but I won't) and I know it hurts. (his legs)
(See everything needs an explanation.)
Jeanette would have laughed her head off at that one.
I would have called her to tell her.
OH I called Tina today, (Jeanette's Daughter).
Suddenly we realized we had encountered the same thing.
Recall my post on Sweet Hour of Prayer and the Garden of Gethsemane?
To begin Tina had no idea I wrote that, she does not use the computer.
Yesterday a Salesperson came to her door. He had books to sell. Forty dollars for the set.
She only had five dollars in quarters and he said, "That is fine, I will take it" He spent time praying with her, right there on the front porch. She told him of her recent loss and how God is talking to her.
They discussed the Garden and how the disciples could not pray for an hour.
She said her Dad told her,"You may have encountered an Angel".
I think her Mom was smiling.
That is all Jeanette wanted was her children, being parents and serving God.
Tina has found another church, one where she can raise her hands if she wants to.
She told me she had that need. I say, Worship God however you want just as long as you worship him.
I challenged her to spend an hour in prayer.
She was going to rake pine straw for her Dad.
So as I cleaned the pool I thought of Tina and our conversation.
We never know what God has planned for us or when our time is up.
We just stay ready to go.
