Evan my grandson called me that when he was a little boy.
We never quite figured out how he got PITA out of Mamaw but he did.
I was PITA for a LONG time.
My Lovely daughter said it meant "Pain In The A$$".
Or it could mean "PUTA", (Spanish for not a nice Lady).
I can be only one of those definitions but I choose to believe he did not want to confuse my name, title, "MAMAW" for Mama.
It was his way of separating the two.
I Personally loved the name.
However that is what my Oven is today, a stupid PUTA PITA.
