Shopping

Today was food buying day. Yeah, I detest food shopping. I see recipes and want to try them, but I do not have things to cook with. I just can not cook for two people. Well I am not good at halving the recipes.
Of course that was after I took David to his doctors appointment.
After I washed his car.
After I did all the driving.
Oh well such is life.

Reason I washed the car?
 IT WAS DIRTY, FILTHY, COATED WITH DUST, CAT PRINTS, ETC.
Mine is clean, I washed it on Saturday or Sunday.

I detest riding around in a dirty car.
He does not see the dirt or he just does not care or it is not at the top of his list of priorities.
And I bought him car wash cards about a month ago. He has not used one yet.
Today as I drove into town I remembered them hanging on the fridge.
I decided I would do it myself. And I did. It is a lot bigger than my car. WHEW!!!

I did finish most of the clearing of the work garage and now we are double parked and I warn him, Every day, "Do not hit my car when backing out"
He just smiles.
 I still want to hack out one more cabinet. The one at the back of the garage.
I am ready for an Estate sale. I am ready to rid myself of extra baggage.
I am ready to slow down at home. I have too much junk but to me it means something. I have old stainless steel bowls from my first stand mixer. I have heavy glass bowls from my second stand mixer. I have my old old meat slicer, (Leon gave it to us) Just too many to mention. Have wants of this stuff, let me know NOW.
Job?  I love doing this. Imagine me, Paid to talk.
(one of my old third grade report cards said, "Carolyn whispers too much in class"
Imagine that.

Sheri has to tell me to shut my mouth so she can get a good picture.
How dare her tell me to close my mouth. LOL
But it is the only way I will do it. So I have to clamp my lips together.
I really do.
Now I know how Leila feels. She has not mastered the clamp your lips technique.

Tomorrow I  must get parts for my tractor, and complete the oil change and cleaning.
I have to find the book for it, Can you imagine I use that book a lot and now it is gone.
Oh well in most of my rearranging I am sure it is somewhere close.
I can go out and write the model number down and use that but that is too easy. I want the book.
I need the book.

Friday is work and I pray the phone does not ring for me to come in. I never refuse although I need to. Need to so I can complete some work here.
I will not refuse to work when called in.  I know how a boss feels when she or he needs help. It is a must to have coverage.

David and I really need to get away. Far away. But that too will wait until his arm is in some form of care.
My job is never on the same days so I can not plan ahead. This week I have five days off in a row. YEA!!!!!!!!!
