Sleep

"Sleep Sleep close thine eyes, Sand man coming slowly"

Oh how I wanted him last night. I think I was overtired so when I lay down, sleep evaded me.
At midnight I finally went to the spare room to try to rest. It was still slow in coming.
I woke lots of times in the night with a sore throat.
I pray that is all it is, Sore Throat from sinus.
It began a few days ago and only bothers me at times.

At 530 I woke and David was still sleeping. He is usually up and moving at 5 or earlier.
I walked in and called his name. He jumped out of bed. Literally jumped.
So I found a way to get him out of bed. He usually rocks himself up as his arm does not cooperate with his needs.
I just call his name and say, "It is Late"
Last evening, he was on the sofa, sound asleep. He began talking. I turned to listen and asked him "what are you talking about? It is a good thing they did not have to change work clothes?"
He began to explain and I said, "Do you even know what you are saying?"
He became irritated and said, "Yes I do, I am talking about that person at that place, You know Costco"
I laughed and turned back around, He was totally out again.
When he did wake I told him about it and he said, "I have no idea what I was dreaming"

I said, "That is OK I talked in my sleep my entire life, No big deal"
Rumor has it that he and Coy used to carry on conversations in their sleep.
I would love to have seen that, but he carried on one with me last night and he was totally asleep.

So such is the life of the aged. Not elderly but aged. Now it is time I get to work and do SOMETHING.
Great dinner planned tonight, I am making him New York steak with baked potatoes and a wilted spinach salad.
No desserts as we have almost two cakes and a package of brownies in the freezer.
