The Laugh

The Laugh I heard coming up behind me was the unmistakable giggle of a small child. He was so happy.
I turned to see him trying to walk with Mommy holding both arms, aiding his maneuvering.
I said, "Oh So sweet, someone is trying to walk?" How Old is he?"
Mom responded with 2.

I was watching an angel in disguise.
He face was positively glowing as his little feet turned and twisted as he thought he was walking.
But the smile  and  giggles and glow never left his beautiful face.
I recognized Down syndrome and I know that many more problems were in his little body.

I told them how Wonderfully Blessed they were, They thanked me and agreed, then proceeded to walk on. Mommy with little two year old, a New baby tucked neatly at her chest and a daughter about 5 years old.

As they rounded the corner the tears came.
I had just spent the day with a Beautiful Healthy family.
I wonder how often do we really realize how blessed we are with health.
Do we see the Angels God puts in our path to make us stop and think.

Is this "Jesus in Disguise"?

I am not supposed to cry at work, (Or I should not)  I am supposed to be objective, But I can't. That is Not who I am.

Some days my Heart aches for the world and the pain I see in the faces I meet each day. I want to make a small difference in their days. One genuine smile and One greeting is all  some people will get all day. All they need to start a special day for them.
I pray I am making a difference.
