Glasses

First Davids news, He saw his doctor today and was informed "Oh No you should be lots better by now."
He was disappointed. He figured that was the case but to be told that is disheartening.
He is possibly referring  back to the surgeon for more strenuous Therapy.
He told her, "I AM NOT having surgery again, Just tell me is this is the way it is going to be and I will live with it, I can live with this, I will adjust."
I can tell you, He tries and tries to work his exercises. He works them morning noon and night.
I feel bad for him when I see so little progress and NO ONE wants to do more than David McLemore.
He just can not stand the thought of never going back to the job with the guys.
Funny, You do not know what you miss until you do not have it.
David had a lot of fun at work and he was greatly admired. Now he just pops in to say hello when he can.

Well I officially have cataracts. I knew I had them but I never expected that to be the reason for my straining to see.  I can not thread my needle.
Today my eye doctor said,
"If you have them removed you will NOT need glasses any longer,Maybe for reading."
He also informed me I can wait a year but the frustration is not worth it. At least to me it is not worth it. I just can not see my eye of a needle.

I wanted to jump and shout and dance around the room, but I held my composure.
I will have it done in February, Maybe.

My Cardiologist wants a Stress test FIRST. Darn!!!!!!.
He informed me today,
" At the 10 year mark I watch you more closely.
If a problem develops I can catch it quick and put a stint in, then you will not have to have another bypass."
That means I MUST see him when scheduled.
That I do not do as I should.
I also ran out of Crestor a few months ago and forgot to order and often did not have the moolah for it. So I just ran out and did without.

All  my numbers are WAY WAY off. Again Darn it. Dr.  was very nice and said, "OK now you see why that crestor is so important"
I knew but often we choose what we do with our money, 'Replace a broken fridge, or microwave,  Fix a leaky faucet, Save for Christmas gifts, Birthday presents ETC.
You get it, I or ( we) MADE A huge error.  He is out too.
I should have ordered my med, now I have to get back on track. and pay full price for Crestor, My full price for a months supply, 30 days for over a dollar a day. DARN!!!

But I still get to leave my glasses behind. My eyes are not worse, my cataracts are. He expects 20/25 vision after the surgery. Isn't that wonderful?

Tomorrow three more appointments and we can relax. Oh no we can't. I work on Thursday and Friday.

Gwena had cataract surgery a few years ago (she still wears glasses though doesn't she? I remember them saying she wouldn't have to. Geez, I've been gone so long I don't remember.)

$30/month isn't HORRIBLE for your Crestor. Not great, but certainly not the worst. Get it. But I totally understand sometimes I just don't have the $4 for my meds. LOL

Dad. I am SO sorry. I talked to him the other night and he sounded great but he was a bit bothered about his arm. Man, I hope they can get it working right. That just makes me so sad.
