Patience

PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE.

I wish I had another word to follow this year.
I have been tested on this one.
My Husband is unable to use his right arm, My Dryer just died, Our Cat is ill, Our friend passed away.
I recall my post earlier stating, "I dread to see what this year brings, I always look forward but this year has not felt the same."
I see my cardiologist today so he can tell me if I can  have my cataracts removed. He better say YES.
Be patient Sue, All things work to glorify God.
So do I call a repairman, or do I buy a dryer? Do I take smokey to the vet to be put to sleep and hold him as he goes away from me? All I  can do for David is Pray for him. (He is my precious soulmate)
Clay? I loved him dearly as a friend and now I can only see his face smiling in my memories.
God has a plan for my life, If only I can see it and follow it.

So on to the rest of my days, lately.
On Thursday night, night as it was getting dark, it was raining and we were in town,
We decided to have a San Francisco Deli Reuben sandwich.
The store was almost empty. We parked outside the brick wall, (brick wall which houses their proper parking lot).
We completed our dinner and walked out into more rain, However as we sat the store suddenly filled up. Full  of people waiting for Tri Tip to come off the grill. In  doing so the parking areas filled to overflowing.
I was on an end parking space. As I put my car into reverse, a small white car pulled into the drive space beside me and immediately put his reverse on to take my space.
To my right and two spaces over, another car was backing out. I was watching both these cars as car number two was beginning his reverse,I was backing up, Rain was pouring, My foot was on the brake.
David was watching the other two cars also. Car number three was coming toward me,
Suddenly I Heard and felt a bump. BUMP. that was it. Remember my foot was on the brake or my car would have been going at least 5 miles an hour.
I  hear,"Oh Honey"
I park and jump out and check the other car for damage and occupants. NONE that was immediately visible. I had to look for damage.
David went into the deli to get the owner of the 2013 Honda Accord.
I filled out paperwork while  setting in my car.
I complete and walk to her car and try to open the driver door. Now the damage is visible, It has crunched the door and fender well, right where they meet, A small amount of red paint is visible.
The dent is maybe 8 inches long and minor.
But the door opening would have caused more damage.
I apologized profusely again and again.
She was pretty rattled, She did not have good information, I felt bad for her. I had walk around and get her license number plus her name and address and she stayed confused.
By the way, where she was parked is the huge open area right beside the old Montgomery ward. Some of you know the area. It was not marked as spaces and where she was parked was in direct line with the lot entrance.
Totally my fault, See I guess I can not do three things at once and do them all well. I never saw her car.
Mustang Damage, NIL< NADA< ZERO. So guys take a sigh of relief. I know I did. LOL.

On my way to church yesterday we saw a small cat, he had been hit by a car. I sighed and felt sad for it.
As I went to work yesterday, Someone had moved the cat to the side of the road. A huge Vulture was looming around. As I rounded the curve he flew, but right beside the dead cat was another cat. A small tabby cat. He was literally guarding the baby cat against the vulture. He was,!!!! Crouched and watching the vulture to pounce on him. That I saw in my rear view as I slowly rounded the next curve.
Now that was sweet, and heart wrenching.

Yesterday was an 8 hour day and I was so tried when I came  home, I grabbed a bowl of cereal and sat and sat and sat until bedtime. All I did all day was serve chicken wings.
SUPER BOWL IS COMING AND WE ARE PREPARING FOR IT.

YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE ROOTING FOR.

GO FORTY-NINERS

I  think  I will nap on Davids knee while he watches.
Yeah Old times.
