Up at 4

Yes I did and I often tell David, "God is not ever up that early"
But my grandson needed me and I had to go. It is just that way. In fact he said,
"The only redeeming quality of today was getting to see My Ma maw and Papaw."
Oh so sweet.
David and I stayed home with the little ones, Two of them. 4 and 3 years old. They are so sweet, David had such a great time loving on their little faces and the constant, "Papaw I Love you"

When the older ones came home from school, they were kind of quiet. We were surprised. Then the hugs and Love you Began. We have to say, They are LOVING kids. Of course book bags, coats, shoes had to be stowed before they could do anything else.
Good  job guys. Later we took Jarod, Mr. Question "I wonder why?" to the bank. HE WANTED  to see the inside of a bank so I took him in. He was quiet and whispered and was totally enthralled.
It was a learning experience for him. He is FULL of questions about everything. LITERALLY EVERYHING.

I made a pot of soup, (not so good) and a Banana pudding, (really good). So dinner was taken care of.
Then we hit the road for home. It had already been a 12 hour day and we were dragging.

Evan came home around 2 and looked haggard. Pale and walking like Papaw. Slow and easy.
His incision ws pretty drastic, no arthroscopic. It was full on cut. He had lots of scar tissue and a Rather large hernia.
When he walked in he looked  so big. I am amazed at how he is growing.
I think the Basque region of France is showing. A Big Frenchman. He had on his hat made by Aunt Sheri and he looked like a big kid from the hood. The only difference is, Evan is quiet and gentle.
Sheri  he loves his hat. He wears it everywhere, To the hospital, Home then lay around in his hat.
It looks rather nice on him.
I straightened the girls room and made beds, then hung clothes. All the time I had chatterbox in the room, She never stopped talking.

When Evan came home, Kian ran to him. Grabbed his hand and said, "Evan Evan I missed you so much, I love you/" OH so sweet and Kian is 3 years old. Evan has been his sitter since he was born. A job Evan took in stride and he loves Ki Ki that much too.
Evan was only gone about 5 hours. What if overnight had been necessary? Ki Ki would be totally lost.

Mommy has filled them in on his owie and showed them the cut, the warning is to stay off him. TOTALLY.

So we are home and I am hungry. Not sure why. We stopped at Starbucks and I had a full non decaf America strong coffee. I was ready to fall asleep. withing 3 minutes I could feel it working. I came alive and could make the rest of the trip. Remember I am the only driver. May be that way forever. Only God can take care of this situation.
So now it is almost 9 PM and it is now 17 hours with no rest. I think I  will rest now.
:Love to all.
