I will post a photo and weight of the idiot stick. Our children know exactly what I am referring to. In fact I recall one of our sons saying, "Wow how did Dad work with that so much, that is heavy".
It is about 5 and 1/2 feet tall, solid iron or steel, Iron I am sure as it looks rusty. And SOLID.
David uses the chisel end to break dirt loose in the bottom of the holes where we plant trees, or to just break up soil, where we are working, if the soil is rock hard.
It is hard work, But as he said, "well worth the effort once he sees the progress."
Never give up, never give in, and Never Never quit. That is our motto.
Sometime I think we need to break our motto into pieces and start with "When you don't feel like it , It is OK to stop, at least take a break".
