New Blog Header

Like it? I do!! My granddaughter made it for me. I counted the gum balls with faces and there are 12, I have 13 Grandchildren, Can you add another face, M? If not fine.
Oh please add the comments section on the side so I can read the comments when they are posted. Thanks.

Lets see, what have I been up to? More than I care to and not as much as I need to.
Dave took time off yesterday for personal business, and we finally got some of our garden in, I said, SOME.
We have 2, 120 foot rows of corn and two more to put in, We have three rows of peas, purple hull, Thanks to my baby sister Jeanette.
We have a 120 foot row of potatoes, half Yukon Gold and half Red.
We have planted our radish, onion and lettuce.
We have lotssssssssssssssss of space left for more plantings and should get to it this week.
We did go to the nursery and thought the plants there looked kind of puny. We have had a few cold nights.
We try to put our garden off until the weather is nicer. Otherwise you can end up putting in two or more gardens, due to cold and light frost and failure to thrive.
I prefer to do my job once and do it correctly. Lets keep our fingers crossed. No more cold weather. In fact at this time, the cherries are usually ready to pick, but they are not ripe yet. I usually pick them during Rodeo time and Rodeo is in full swing this next week.
(Our neighbors give us their cherries, they do not eat them all and do not make jams or jellies).
I will make jam and share with them.
The wind is up again, I detest windy days. I get cold to the bone. Literally I chill so easily and my nose gets stuffy. Lots of Cottonwood blowing around here today, looks like snow in the air.
I nap every day and when I hit the bed, I am OUT. All this yard work is good for me, I guess. But it certainly makes me tired and sore. MY chest hurts all the way through. Front to back.
I have bruises on my legs and the dirt is settleing in, But I do get a good facial. Best thing about yard work is the natural exfoliation of the skin.

Today I need to get off my hiney and make beds and mop floors. I will wait until I am fully awake. I may even take a nap before I begin.

So that is me for today, I have an appointment at 4 for a realtor to view the house and I mostly do not care how it looks.
Too tired to care.
This is my encouraging word today, I can trust God for everything to work to our good.
No matter how we see it, it is his divine will.
I Pray I am called according to his purpose.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
