Again?

I volunteered to work today. Little did I know it was going to be a 3 hour shift. However I loved it.
I am now getting to know all the ladies and they smile when they see me coming as I try to bring in a little joviality to our job. (or are they laughing at me?) Hummmm

Anyway I was a breaker today. I told one girl I never break, I mend so I am a mender or a meander er.

I was offered the full shift but I know some ladies need the money more than I do, so I gave her the full shift.
I don't mind. I just have fun with my job. Isn't that why we work when we are old? To have fun.

OK for news.
Today David talked to his boss, Jeremiah.
He told J "I have no idea how long I will be off, I am told I can not even use my arm for 6 weeks"
I may be able to come back on a limited basis but that is unknown until it is over. If it is ever over."

Jeremiah then told him, "David I have thought about this and I do not think it is a good idea for you to be here around these guys, they can go off on anyone, at any time and they can injure you seriously,  I only want you back when you are 100%."

OK now I am heard. That has been one of my concerns all along. What if one of them attacked him, What if one of them decided to run away and he is there alone with him. A lot of what ifs?
I know you can not live with the idea something will go wrong, but being smart is a whole other subject.
What if he had an accident while driving and his arm was found to be the cause of the wreck? It could happen.

So now he is off, after tomorrow and tomorrow is probably his final day of work,EVER!!!
It is good and it is bad. One he is so sharp in his thinking, I do not want that to diminish.
He is strong and healthy. He has that going for him in this surgery.
However he has NO hobbies, NONE!!! So what can I find for him to do to keep his mind alert.
One he can work crossword puzzles. He likes that, but he can not use his right hand.
Nope not that for a while.
I told him "I can teach you to quilt"
He laughs and laughs.
I told him he can learn to cook gourmet meals.
Not gonna happen. Or will it. He has to find something to stay here with me for a long time.

Oh he just walked through and I made the Chef suggestion, He  said, "That would be  nice, I can do that once my arm is better."
So "Chef David" I am holding you to that.
Josh want to come teach him?
Josh is a sous chef. Is that right guys?

So with that I can rest easier tonight. I think I have been encumbered with stress about this, I wake every day with my entire body hurting, Like I have gotten cold and my insides ache.
The only way I forget or deal, is by going to work. That has helped me tremendously.
So with that I say, "Goodnight"
Love to all.
