You say, Red Who????
Wasted years wasted years oh how foolish
As you walk on in darkness and fear
Turn around turn around love is calling
Keeps calling me from a life of wasted years
Have you wander a lot on life's pathway
Have you lived without love a life of tears
Have you searched for a great higher meaning
Or is your life filled with long wasted years
Wasted years wasted years oh how foolish
As you walk on in darkness and fear
Turn around turn around love is calling
Keeps calling you from a life of wasted years
As you walk on in darkness and fear
Turn around turn around love is calling
Keeps calling me from a life of wasted years
Have you wander a lot on life's pathway
Have you lived without love a life of tears
Have you searched for a great higher meaning
Or is your life filled with long wasted years
Wasted years wasted years oh how foolish
As you walk on in darkness and fear
Turn around turn around love is calling
Keeps calling you from a life of wasted years
So I feel my day has been wasted. Wasted Wasted.
Yesterday, we spent 4 hours in front of the Boob Tube,
watching our team (forty Niners) get beat,
but I have to admit, I loved the Ravens tenacity.
I did enjoy the way the game was played but I did see one error in a call.
Or WAS IT?
I did want to see, Fight Fight Fight.
Oh well , that is another California team that can bring it on.
Today was spent in town, doctors appointment, food, shopping and now it is time to rest, I hope so.
But my house is a disaster and I need to get to work on it. I did a little last night, swept down cob webs and dust, now I need to replace light bulbs and vacuum and mop and sterilize every thing in sight.
Yeah I am on one of those kicks.
I have to rent a carpet shampooer and clean my wool area rug, it stinks, STINKS from smoky peeing on it.
Poor kitty could not control himself. He just lost control and peeded a LOT.
Funny thing is, I can still smell him. and he has been gone for a few days.
I go back to work on Thursday and will be glad to earn the money, I think I am getting stingy.
However this summers party will not be cheap. I have so much to do, and so much to think of, It is hard to think of exactly what I want to do.
I wish we could floor the rec room but the cement is in great shape so maybe a few area rugs will work out for us.
I have to get rid of the futon we bought a year ago, To protect it I threw a sheet over it and wrapped it really tight. I thought it was tight.
Smoky would sneak under the sheet and hide, when he was sick. His mouth would bleed and droll. We tried to keep him off but he had a way of hiding. It was kind of funny.
David looked all over the room for him, but he could not find him, I walked over and rolled back the sheet and there he was, sound asleep. Poor Kitty.
It is probably fine but you know me, If I can smell it,It is going to bug me to death. It is clean looking and I see nothing on it but I have to clear out this room and scrub it all down. Then I can relax.
Now to get the work started.
I pray you all have a wonderful day, night, week, month, Year and Life.
Love to all.
Sue

You should make your 50th anniversary just a small private affair and not go so crazy on it. You won't enjoy it at all if you put too much into it. After all...the day is about you and Dad. Not you and Dad and 3 kids, 12 grandkids, 52 friends, 18 brothers and sisters, 30 nieces and nephews, etc.
Just relax and keep it small.
Get your house clean, rent a canopy for shade or get a small one and put it up...have some basic food and just have a BBQ. Don't waste time worrying about it. No one cares about all that other stuff.
(See how I turned your words on you there "wasted time")
